I have lived in Kuwait for 4 years when I was a kid in mid until late 90s and that is why I follow your channel because it gives me nostalgia. Even back then I remember a lot of British people were living there whose kids went to British school there. I'd like to go back to Kuwait one day as a tourist and see how it'd feel. Nice to see these kind of videos Mike from everyday life and people in Kuwait, since Kuwait has always been a business city/country and never really wanted to transition to touristy and "fun" one like Dubai.

Hey Friend! Do you know Investing in cryptocurrencies is the best form of investment anyone can implement right now. Sometimes when we have that specific money that we want to invest in a particular thing, we always lose focus and then invest or spend the money wrongly. One of the reasons you need to invest in cryptocurrencies and their technologies is; Cryptocurrency is changing the economy shape of any nation, that way being an early adapter gives you an edge over others that will buy into it late. While looking at the growth rate of the cryptocurrency and the opportunity it presents, why not look into it and rethink about the particular investment you wish to make. You can earn up to $30,000 per week • Ask me how ... ..1..9..2..O..3..7..6..5..8..6..1 wh@ts App

I wish people came to the West with the same open mindedness and respect. Too many come here with a sneering attitude, criticising the West as being 'decadent' while simultaneously benefiting from Western ideals of Human Rights, Freedom of Speech and living off benefits. Some don't even bother to learn the language of their host country even after living there for decades.

I was born in Kuwait in 2004 and I’ve been living in kuwait for 17 years now and I’m a bodybuilder, I’d say that besides a few exceptions, there ain’t that much outdoor stuff you can do here, the bright sides to this place are that it’s pretty safe, no taxes and I’ve made so many great friends that I’d die for, I’m sure I’ll keep in touch with them once I’m done with school, I wanna move to the UK after school since I heard there’s a lot more to do there and most of my friends are also going there after they are done with school which is great and one of my major goals is to compete in the 2024 Olympics taking place in Paris as a runner so that I can prove that Kuwait has also got some great hard workers following their passions

As a British-Kuwaiti there’s just something very endearing I find about Kuwait. It really is home. Kuwait has a strong collectivist society (in contrast, to the west’s individualistic societies) and with that you truly are never alone. I find it really interesting how most of the people you spoke to found Kuwait to be- in their own words- safe. I’ve met some exchange students who made the same commentary about Kuwait. My theory to why Kuwait is very safe is narrowed down to our collectivist society. People here rarely live simply to please themselves; there’s their family, their neighbors, their future spouses, the community to think about. A decision is made after debating it’s outcomes general effect; while there are definitely pros and cons to that, the trade off is general safety.

I like to say that kuwait is safe, and I think it is You often hear about crazy stuff in news and all of that, but you have to think of the CHANCES of that happening and it’s very low, my father works in the embassy and he has this notion of “Life is not safe, to be safe stay home”, yes I know he’s living a negative life He lives his life “avoiding” anything that could cause harm, in his work place he hears A LOT of stories everyday about what happens Either way imo, kuwait is safe, stable and nice place. & no taxes The people are nice, you have a lot of communities here and you can easily find a place to fit in Also you’ll hear about people being mean to expats (which is untrue), if you mistreat someone they’ll mistreat you. Only thing I hate here is, driving is hectic lmao

@@danieltadros3262 Dude! India has dirty places too! Don't you think Kuwait has any? Ever been to Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh in Kuwait?? It's a ghetto as well. India is still a developing country overall. Yes, there is garbage on the streets and there are also streets with no garbage. It matters how many people are walking on that damn road. Also, the administration as well as maintenance staff. You should not eat and drink just anywhere because sanitation is an issue but if you go to managed places like an average or high-end restaurant then it shall not be a problem. What do you think Kuwait has always been like this? Look back when Kuwait had no oil. Its a phase that every country goes through. BTW if you haven't seen dirty places in Kuwait then you haven't seen the whole Kuwait.

Grew up in Kuwait in late 70's. Interesting to see changes. New English School? American School? French School? Any other alumni out there? I did not hang much with local kids, but played soccer with some (mostly Iraqi). I remember them being generous with my lack of skill. They put me in the goal because I was big, and they thought I could reach the corners. One day they told me they had to go to the army. That meant the Iran-Iraq war. They were only a bit older than me (maybe 15). I did not see them again.

Im from Egypt originally but have been living in Kuwait for nearly 6 years. I would honestly much rather live here than Egypt. Dont get me wrong, I love Egypt and miss all my relatives there. But Kuwait just feels like my home, so safe, hospitable people, all the services you need, great schools. It really has everything and it’s all within reach. I get severe home sickness when I am in Egypt and severe anxiety attacks there, it’s so incredibly different there and everything is just throw at you in the face all at once. For instance, imagine living 11 out of 12 months in a country with around 4 million people, and staying in a country with over 100 million for a month. It’s crazy and very nerve racking to be there honestly, very sudden change. May Allah bless and protect both Egypt and Kuwait. However, This Egyptian girl can’t handle the stress and noise of Egypt, and that’s why I will always be grateful for Kuwait, for giving me the opportunity to get education better than I ever would have imagined, and giving me so many chances.

But its a very racist country. Egyptians are the hardest working people in kuwait and they get the lowest payments. 12 hours a day for 6 days a week and they pay something like 120 dinar or 150 if you are lucky. Which is a lot if you make it to egyptian pound. But in kuwait how you can rent a place or eat food or spend money. You cant

Mike, I really appreciate your efforts. But let me give you a small hint. Don’t ask new people in Kuwait, because I believe some of them they did not explore Kuwait yet or they did not collect enough information about it. I’m working here in Kuwait since 2011, I almost know the most of places “except the south border”, culture, politics, Law (which is very important) I even can speak a fair good Kuwait accents. And it’s safe to say that Kuwait one of my favorite countries (close to my heart). Replying to the people whom said that no concerts and not too much activities, I advice to search more about the different activities and touristic places here in Kuwait. Even if it’s little but still have. For summer activity yes we do gathering and going to beach “khiran” with a group of different nationalities. Conclusion Every country has advantages and disadvantages. And you have to get your information from a valid source. Regards, Ahmed
