Hi! Considering the problems with all the RAM training on AM 5, i was wondering what's the average boot time on this motherboard and what CPU was it paired with. I want to buy a similar motherboard

Thank you man) You saved me) I'm not a new to computer builds, I've been into it since 1998, but this is a 1st time when I bought a new processor. I got B650I Aorus Ultra(with no instruction damn it) and 9800X3D. No video signal. No error messages from the board. WTF?) I tried this approach with 256GB USB stick formatted to FAT32 with ridgecrop guiformat. Didn't work. It was doing something for about 5 minutes than turned off. No video signal. So I bought the cheapiest flash drive in the local store with 32GB and tried again. IT'S ALIVE! I have no idea what is the reason to rename that bios file. What is the problem to pack it in archive with the propper name? This board got wifi and bluetooth. I hope in the future it will be possible just to pair MB with your phone app and update BIOS. Anyway BIOS update with MB and power supply is a HUUUUUUGE progress

the filename is important as the chip that reads the USB is looking for a specific file name and wont "see" anything else.

Wow I wasnt expecting the first search result to be perfect. The exact board too. I was in a hurry first building with it and skipped the bios update (old CPU not a huge deal). But I'm doing some work on the PC and wondering how safe this will be for a board that's already installed and functional? I would prefer not to remove the CPU or cooler but I can probably unslot the ram and ssds if necessary. Is it worth the risk updating or should I just stick with my current version?

it is fine to update the bios after the build and probably better to update the bios from actually inside the bios in the PC works

Great video Mike, unfortunately it didn't work on my Gigabyte B650E AORUS ELITE X AX ICE. I wanted to do a all white themed build. Could never get it to boot at all. Just hanging on with that red light with the G.Skill DDR5 6400 speed memory. I spent hours trying to get this to work. I don't have other parts to test it with except my power supply on my X570 Asus build. Half the time, my fans would turn on and then off and power supply would just shut off. Even switching my power supply form the x570, it did the same thing. I tried the Q flash and I let it blink and it would not stop blinking. Finally I gave up after letting it blink for over an hour and tried it again with my usb 32 gig sandisk. The same thing, just the same speed blinking for an hour. I don't build pc's to often, like maybe every 5 years. I never used Gigabyte before and despite the negative comments in years past from my friends who have a pc business to stay away from Gigabyte, I want to give them a try. The board was white and stunning looking. It's boing back to Microcenter tomorrow. This is the first time that I had a motherboard fail on me. I haven't built to many pc's but maybe 10 or so going back to the early 2000's. Well, I finally tried Gigabyte and I will never try them again. I mostly do Asus, Asrock. Another thing about Gigabyte, It's pretty telling that they don't tell you how to use the Q Flash feature. Personally that's a sign to stay away from them in my book.

Hey man I have the same motherboard, but b650m. I upgraded to this for all white pike yours. And mine does not even power on. I'm gonna try q flash or bypassing the power button. You didn't show whether the power supply is connected to a power outlet or not, it's also never fully in the shot before/after you connected it, which is not that great for an instruction video. For all we know, you just instructed us to connect the pins and leave the PSU unpowered, and what is powering the flashing is the motherboard's built-in battery.

Hi, maybe one of you could help me. I bought this motherboard, Ryzen 5 7600 and Lexar 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz. Unfortunately, after starting it, even though the fans are working, it does not detect the image, keyboard and mouse. The DRAM LED is lit red. I tried different ram, but nothing changed. I'm waiting for the equipment to be sent back for complaints, but is it worth trying to update the BIOS yourself? If this is a problem. Maybe someone had similar components... (sorry for my English)
