@smalla weyhey11 I understand completely where you are coming from. But for example when the world cup (football) comes around, I feel compelled to support my home country. I know if I didn't support a certain boxer or team, it wouldn't make a difference in any universe. But you just feel compelled to cheer and say "smack em in the gobber from England". It's a pride thing I guess

@Samuelson baker Meh I remember Lennox being constantly overlooked and overshadowed by Tyson, even here in the UK. I much prefer Lewis as a person but Tyson is a legend and gave new life to boxing at the time. Also casuals make up a large percentage of the audience and most will share my opinion
@Brandywine925 жыл бұрын
@Samuelson baker You call people casuals for rating Mike Tyson highly?.. You represent someone who attempts to be the epitome of boxing knowledge but actually isn't. Lennox Lewis got better as he aged, the timing was all wrong. Mike's peak was earlier in his career. We see many athletes peak at different times in their careers, and this doesn't just refer to the sport of boxing. Take for example Roy Jones Jnr, or even David Haye - both fighters that got worse as they aged. A lot of their game was down to speed and athleticism, also the spring in the step for some helps generate the power. But with Mike Tyson he's more complex. He had an incredible amount going on in his personal life. I don't want to spend all my time writing on here, but he wasn't the same after his beloved trainer Cus D'Amato died.

@lizzy rosario what you are saying is non-sense. No he hasn't completely dissolved his ego.. Nobody has or can fully. He has obviously transitioned from an egotistical boxing legend into a student of love. Its not easy growing up on a tough council estate its hard man and you have to fight otherwise you look weak and you will get picked on. Piers Morgan dont have a clue about GUNS he should shut the fuck up he is English like me but i still realise that most gun crimes are done not only with a hand gun but an illegal gun so it dont matter if you ban semi automatic guns people will still get an illegal gun so all these people who are against semi automatic guns dont realise that if you ban them it wont change a thing then the next thing will be lets BAN ALL GUNS and guess what ? gun crime will still happen so Morgan needs to shut the fuck up and leave the Americans to it.

This episode had so much to offer; emotional highs & lows, deep reflection and some great questions with compelling insight and opinion. In these rapidly shifting times of low-vibe media there's still plenty of diamonds in the dirt. I love what Mike is doing. I also hope he gets to come back to England in the near future.

He's way better then most journalists. I dislike him mainly because of his strong anti gun agenda. I think most sensible gun people would like to see better background checks and regulations to keep teenagers from buying weapons. Problem is we don't trust the government and we see any law against guns as one step closer to complete gun bans like most other countries. Governments have killed millions of people with guns. The innocent people killed by guns isn't enough of a reason to strip away our security and independence. As long as citizens have guns we will have leverage over the government and protect our future from complete tyranny.
@TRGoldjkp5 жыл бұрын
I'm English so I can't even discuss guns really but if you just look at the stats it shows why guns are not a good idea and you can't debate that. @@dbros2656
