I love the fact that Mike Tyson asked fans (during the Terry Crews Part 2 premeire Superchat) who they wanted on his show.. & the Champ actually _listened;_ offering an open invitation to our beloved Uncle Joey 'Coco' Diaz!?! Proud to be a member of The Church of What's Happening Now. Thanks to everyone who helped make this epic meeting of the minds possible. Peace & Jah Bless

Who do we want next? If Mike is still open to suggestions. Uncle Joey mentioned Theo Von. Joey and Theo are my favorite comics and would be cool to see both on Hotboxin' eventually. Mike probably can relate to Joey more though. Some people were suggesting DMX last night during the premiere. I think Mike and X would be an awesome collab. Similar paths in success and struggles

Mike Tyson deserves to be loved. He is an example of a human being who was greatly disturbed and super dysfunctional who did shameful things in the past, but decided to dig deep and make a change. That just doesn't happen every day. He should not be proud of who he used to be in the past but needs to always stay proud for who he has now become. He is a work in progress, and I am a big fan Mike!! Keep it up!

That comes with low self esteem, we wonder why people even like us and what they see in us all the time. If only they knew how I really was we say. Thats the thing they do see how we really are they see through our low self esteem/self confidence and see we really are good people with big hearts that like to help people. but we dont give ourselves any credit. We tell ourselves were not good enough, if they only knew, im a piece of shit, poor me etc...Im sure mike has low self esteeem, and low self confidence, no self worth which is hard to imagine cause hes lived an awesome life for the most part why would he feel that way but it doesnt discriminate were human and we have emotions that will make u feel that way. combine that with this shitty world we live in where everyone compares everyone to one another and there you go.

It's extremely hard for Mike to relate to people because he had an an extremely troubled life. So when he meets people he can relate to (Steve-O, Joey, etc) I think he feels at ease. Whereas when you see him on some talk-show with a suburban audience full of people with comparatively normal lives, he always seems on edge/uncomfortable.

What an example of how two people can go from a life that may not let them live passed the age of 18, to this. What a journey. Mike has had 4 different careers! I listen to 4-5 hours of podcasts everyday at work. I work overnights and usually listen to Joey’sChurch, Burr and tons of wrestling pods (don’t judge me lol) But THIS might be the best podcast ever. They should just do a weekly pod together. Or anything on a regular basis. Uncle Joey got more honesty and candidness out of Tyson than anyone including Rogan. Something special about this pair.

If thats the case then respect, to each their own. I feel things said in this podcast touches with many issues that all of us probably dealt with at one point in time and in soceity as well..when mike reaffirmed joey that he's not a piece of shit, many have those thoughts where a situation will make you self criticize yourself till the point you hate yourself or cant look in the mirror but nobody is perfect and self healing or group healing is the key to forgive yourself, we are all in this together and need to connect with one another.
@stateofmindz
@stateofmindz 5 жыл бұрын
Also i like when joey said he rather call someone to hear their voice then to text because its actual interaction, he mentioned this before on joes podcast but to me this is a major issue where it touches society and where it could head if we dont recognize that we NEED human interaction face to face or hanging out, our generation have the highest percentage of loneliness and depression and technology plays a huge part in that. Thats why we cannot let technology consume us to the point we are dependant on it. That being said thank you Mike Tyson, evin, and joey for this funny yet informal podcastand i know im not alone when i say youre viewers would like more. Cheers to everyone reading this and one love.
