It will be some forum warrior. I port saws too Harvey and I know how hard it is to get real gains in a saw. When I watched you chewing away with a Dremal I'll be honest I cringed a bit. But I get you were out to prove a point that anyone can do it. What surprised me is just how good that saw ran and you did it with a crappy Dremal no less. Good for you Harvey you make us elite types look small every time you pull that trick off. Well done mate! You keep showing everyone how to do it. Once you run a ported saw you will never pick up a stock saw again. Its like watching paint dry.

Straight shooter with a heart of gold! Can not stop watching ya... Question, I have a sentimental for keep sake Poulon pro 335 type 1 chainsaw giving to me used. Can not get info on where the pulse line and the 2 gas lines connect correctly. I do know the fuel feed line from the filter connects to the fuel pump side of the Walbro WA-49 carb. I had the pulse barb from the cylinder connected to the metering side carb port. Where does the return line for the tank connect? Or did my buddy before me loose a part?

I am curious if it is possible to drill that 372 x torq carb at the reed block face and feed it the impulse that way with a top cover swap ? I did this on a 670 champ jred that your videos led me to 272 port and convert that was a tillotson carb however . Just curious if it is possible with the walbro also …

I never knew about the silicone sealer for base gaskets. I always used high temp grease for that.

P 51! It looks mean. I tried to buy one on CL asked the guy to send it to me right befor Thanksgiving. After the holidays he changed hi tune. Told me it was going to be a big project and he didn't want to send it out. I told him to email pic of exactly what he thought was wrong. It was a rough running saw with missing parts according to him.. I told him i still wanted it, he emailed a short time later and just said i changed my mind I'm going to keep it. Lol.. he must have seen your vids. Let us know what the "mighty chainsaw wizard of the universe" has to bestow on us. Keep up the vids Harvy!!

Marc the mason hear. So today I find my self on the hound for a saw mill that can mill a full 2x10x16 spruce or hemlock. I need 60 of these god blessed planks by Jan 15th don't cha know. I find hemlock all over southern NH for sail at rough sawn 1-3/4 x 9-3/4. They have to be 2" I mean two inch thick as a brick. I really hope that Maine saw mills could come threw with the spruce. But In NH I will take the hemlock so long they are two inch thick x 10 frekin inch's wide and 16 feet long. I use a 1986 four door dully with a crate 383 stocker with 435 foot pound of torque dragging 20 foot flat bed trailer. I got a call from Marden logging from Freemont NH and tells me he has a man that is on a wood lot. And all he is doing is hemlock. I am a mason and you know what I need the planks for.

I have multiple subscribers that got off on the wrong foot, but after they see I wont acknowledge the negative comments they change their ways.
