Hazel Atlas on the Tom and Jerry, they were sold with the punch bowl, which had the recipe for the beverage Tom and Jerry. Something similar to a wassail or an eggnog. I learned that by watching George 😊

Hi Mikey. You sounded like a Goodwill spokesperson in this video. Polite of you considering how they hurt reselling with goofy high pricing. Agree that the GW staffs are lovely people. We seek out smaller thrifts stores and church based thrift stores. But once addicted to Goodwill it is always on our route. Garage sale season just about to start in Florida.

"It's in every town" ha ha, or over 1 hour from your town... I only go once in a GREAT while and both of my closer options are terrible (tiny, no jewelry and mostly clothing). I think the one is Boston is good, but that is over 1 hour and no parking, so I have not gone yet. I have great smaller church thrift stores with high turnover.

If there are frog figurines among that stock...they'd be in my cart!! Ah, a piece from my home town...the City By the Bay! San Francisco may have fishermen, great bridges, hills and fog...and don't forget the cable cars that climb to the stars...but the thrift store situation stinks to high heaven! On that wireless train control...be sure to check the condition if the battery compartment...nothing like leaky batts to cool the find!

Sadly they may have lost their screen printing in the old Kitchen Aid dishwasher. High heat will yellow any milk glass too, as well as damage decorations and marks. What a shame.

That transferware plate with the salmon-y / purplish pink was WW1 or earlier. Sadly many marks disappear on those old plates when people put them in the dishwasher. Bad idea. Always hand wash a vintage transferware or Japanese WW2 Occupied Japan item - plates or figurals.

Hey Mikey 👋 Great video 👍 The slip and slide brought back a fond memory of mine😆 It was the summer of 1975, I was 21, my coworker had a party at his house, there was some alcohol involved 😂🤪, his children (they were spending the night at a friends house) had a slip and slide set up in the back yard, so about 2:00 am we decided to strip down to our underwear and get on it🤣 well, we all wound up covered head to toe in mud and grass and had to be sprayed off with the water hose!!! That will sober you up real quick 🤣😂 But we all had a large time!!! Thanks for the memories 👍 Peace ✌️ Love ❤️ and Thrifting 🛒

There’s a line of Glass ware called Candle Wick . People buy it . Those big plates for 50.00 looked like them . If you find them in colours , they will sell for even more . I was wondering , do dog/cat dishes resell well ? Or how about small pet carriers ? When I caught my bunny , I went to Pet Smart to get her a carrier . I was shocked how much they were priced at . 60.00!!! I got it for 30.00 though . In the thrifts , I see them priced no higher than 20.00 for a real fancy one . Or what about pet outfits ?
