I’m in Calgary, Alberta Canada . We are currently getting the remnants of Hurricane Hilary . The rain is much needed . We’ve had water rationing . And it seems everywhere in Canada, wild fires have been burning everything in sight . So much damage, fire fighter lives lost . Entire towns burned to the ground . People have lost everything . Calgary is currently hosting some of the residents from the North West Territories . Yellowknife was completely evacuated . So this rain is so welcome . It’s been a warm constant rain .

Hi, as I lost weight I thought my arthritis would get better but it had more to do with food. Be careful some arthritis pills have side effects and when I was 45 with one year of being on the pills I lost all my teeth. Yes turmeric helps inflammation, and black pepper helps turmeric work better. Pick up some black pepper capsules to take with turmeric. And 44 #s is amazing good stuff. You’re doing it right with exercise and change in the food. Yay! Good on you! 👏👏👏😎🙏

I was on Prednisone for about 4 weeks starting at 4 pills a day for a week then going done each week until gone and I felt absolutely great . I wish I could be on it all of the time.

Hi Mikey! I’m so sorry you’re having to go through the pain and fatigue of a new illness.💕 I’ve dealt with Fibromyalgia for 35 years and holding yoga poses these days are painful for me. I’m going to look into tai chi. I don’t have the patience for meditation, but enjoy tapping. Just letting you know of other options. Also, ask for help and get your nephews and others to help you with your room move.👍

Watching from outside of Toronto Canada. Glad you are trying to push through your day but its ok to rest more & slow down. Stretching exercises or yoga might help to start & wouldn't be too painful. I am in week 5 recovery of knee replacement & trying to keep up with all exercises but they do help & even doing just stretching feels good. One day at a time!!

When you get diagnosed, the doctor will recommend the best exercise for you. I've known people who have done acupuncture, but it's a shorter relief period. Massages are good, but they need to know what's wrong with you. There is gentle yoga, that involves stretching which benefits everyone. I do it twice a day. Swimming is good too. I hope they get you into the Rheumatologist soon. It's a long wait here in Wichita to see any specialist. Don't let anyone keep you on steroids very long...they are meant to be temporary. Take good care, and rest often. Long hot baths with Epsom salts are WONDERFUL for joint pain!

I'm a first time commenter on your page. I live in Napa and boy do I know your struggles. My neighbor and I started walking 3.5 years ago and we keep saying when do we start feeling better. I have not lost any weight since I started walking. But she isn't going to let me off the hook to stop walking because she says the same thing that you have to keep moving. So hang in there. I get the wants for sugar, and now I make these smoothies with no sugar, all produce, and better than a shake. About a cup of your favorite frozen fruit(s), a banana, about a cup of fruit juice (unfiltered apple cider has loads of electrolytes for hydrating muscles and joints), blend until icy smoothie. Tastes better than candy. You can also blend some greens in, the color is ugly but it tastes the same. When the market has really good flavor peak season on my favorite fruits, I freeze them. Buy big bags of frozen fruit when on sale. My smoothie is banana, frozen blueberries, strawberries, mango/peach, fresh spinach, apple cider or fresh orange juice. Better than a slushee. Anything made in Lahaina or from Hilo Hattie's has just become heirloom. :( Grab it if only to donate back to their heritage museum.
