Don’t forget to ask one of your doctors to give you a parking permit letter so you can go get a card or sticker for better parking options.

I have an issue with this comment especially if someone gets to park close to entrances but will walk for an hour in the store. My daughter needs those parking spots because they are wider and she needs to get her chair close to our vehicle. Let the hate begin but I have been doing this for her for 38 years and it never gets easier.

I had a gentleman (not really) yell at me for 20 minutes because I look younger than I am at 59, and I'm fat. I have many health issues not the least of which is being bone on bone, no cartilage left in either knee. He dressed me down for using an electric cart. I pulled into a handicapped spot and sat in the cart that was there. "It disgusts him to see young fat people cheat seniors out of the carts." He was walking on his own upright. My response, I pulled out my cane and walker from the back seat and offered him the cart. He just about choked on his tongue. I did tell him the next person may have had surgery and been here to get medication. Never assume someone else doesn't need something just by what you think you know. Cuz you just never know. I used a cart to hold me up for a long time before I went to using the walker. In spite of the pain.

Of course we care, Mikey. Chronic pain is life altering. And waiting for answers before you can make a plan for your new normal is frustrating. It took 5 yrs for them to figure out O had fibromyalgia. That was 25 years ago, before anyone really knew about it. I was very early 40’s and knew it was not normal to feel like I had been thrown down the stairs, several times. Then we had to change it up, again when I was early 50’s because other issues were creating more trouble. So, gentle hugs❤️

Yup, Rheumatoid factor should be under 14 and im just diagnosed as well and my count was 566! The pain is real!!

Heard a rumor that the LV Blvd location is going to go bye bye. Not making enough to pay that LV Blvd address rent cost. Seems like a “no duh” to me. So many businesses have come and gone from that location.

I think rheumatoid arthritis as well I’ve had it for over 20 years and symptoms sounds very familiar. Luckily you have insurance and can get good treatment because it isn’t cheap.

Steroids are hard for me. Last time I was on them, I was in the hospital with an asthma attack that lasted almost a week on top of the flu - even though I had a flu shot. But being bipolar, steroids really kick my tail and affect my mood. I am very careful about using them.

Sun exposer can trigger auto immune flare up (lupus, RA) btw . You may want to use a sun umbrella during the day to limit sun exposure.

Save your money on holistic remedies. So glad you are seeing a rheumatologist. That would have been my suggestion. Definitely an autoimmune disorder, and with this type of disorder many of them cross over. My symptoms started at an early age. Wasn’t diagnosed until I was 48. When I was a young girl my grandmother used to say to me “Bonnie Marie you have more aches and pains than an old woman, or at least you complain about them more.” Wishing you only the best!

I seemed to hurt worse than my peers but I was bigger and worked from a very young age. The pains now are next level and everywhere. I am so happy to be seeing a doctor and hopefully get a diagnosis. Thank you for sharing❤

Glad you are feeling a little better, steriods can be very helpful. I take them often because I am waiting for a double lung transplant, double pneumonia destroyed my lungs in 2018, and they help the inflammation in my lungs. Hope they get to the bottom of what is ailing you. I will keep you and Super Cort in my prayers.

It’s amazing how our well being is related to the presence or absence of pain. We push in down, ignore it, mask it with humor or food or alcohol until we are faced with the inability to get out of bed or walk, then we finally do something about it. I have been through your symptoms and have lupus arthritis and take medication including pain meds and modify my lifestyle so that life is finally good again.

I never thought the pain was coming from the inside. Just thought it had to be from sleeping weird, getting older, being overweight. So glad they did the blood test to I can change whatever I can to have a good lifestyle. Thank you so much for sharing❤

Yes!!! We put turmeric in everything…eggs, hamburger, chicken, etc. as long as you don’t go all “ham” with the amount you can’t even taste it. If you need more…get a supplement. *Disclaimer - Check with your doc first to be sure supplements will not interfere with anything else you may be prescribed. 😘😘

Hey, Mikey! 😊 You can get a good deal on turmeric in a big bag at an Indian grocery. That's where I got mine. 🧡 I also learned from a guy on KZbin there are a lot of oils in food that are inflammatory... Pure extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil best. ❤ In case that helps at all.

Listen to your body. With autoimmune disorders too much repetition of the joints can make symptoms worse. Yes you need to keep moving, do as much as you are able but do not over do it.

Hi nice shopping with you today and for the health update. one thing you might consider is taking sanitizing hand wipes with you. You touch so many things and when taking steroids, that lowers your immune system. Live with the wipes and wash your hands with soap and water as often as possible.

Hey Mikey…..I feel your pain brother!!! I’ve had osteoarthritis and osteopenia for about 8 years. My left knee is an excellent rain predictor, oh yes it swells up and throbs before and during rain. It is something about the atmosphere that affects arthritis. I walk like you when I get out of a car, get up from sitting or out of the bed…….takes me awhile to loosen up because of stiffness. Am on several medications but sometimes still hurt😫 eat some fresh cherries they work wonders for pain and stiffness!!! Ya gotta eat them everyday!!!
