I love using this technique. Nothing beats the Gambler Big EZ for it. If I'm in the thick of it I throw my 7' 11" XH with 8.2 but it's not the most accurate. If it's sparse I'll go down as far a 7'3" with 7.0. But I only have a handful of rods so I use what I have and make it work.

@mikeybalzz3 жыл бұрын
you could do it with alot of baits. i'm biased towards the ez and the tail on the ez is a little more vertical than many other like baits which makes the tail blub blub just right, also the weight is a little heavier so it's easier to cast

during the bream spawn use this technique and dipp that tail in chartreuse dye. I use the swim senkos but its usually 1 fish per bait and strictly watermelon red. i prefer a smaller offshank hook but not widegap. I can get through the grass better without the bait wanting to roll over.

Was just like Mikey, I use to love to fish tourneys, then had back surgery and lost most all interest in fishing. Moved from Kentucky to east Tennessee and met a couple guys and started fishing again. As Mikey said, it so fun to just go fishing and fish when, where and how you want. I've always fished for large mouth till moving to East Tennessee and my buddy has got me into fishing for smallies in winter. But I have fished a couple tourneys in the last few months and starting to get the itch back!! Either way it's just so much fun and if it's not a tourney it's so PEACEFUL!! No stress and all that crap. Great video as usual. Stay safe out there. Semper Fi and tight lines!
