@@MikeyCunninghamFishing about 1990 my grandfather worked for bom and mrm on the island keith ditton is his name. spent abit of time with roy wright, phillip barret archie and steve johnston in my younger years. if my memory is correct mark hanlon had the lodge on north island we used to camp at paradise bay a bit too. when we left the island my grandparents run the little food shop beside bbd/malandari store and lived beside neville andrews who was the fishing club president for a while

Mate… every time I see that fish in the video I still smile from ear to ear. Obviously people on the east coast catch them way bigger… but that fish around here, in under 10 metres of water. I was pretty bloody happy.
