If it hadn't been Covid, it would have been something else. The only people who have to worry are the ones with damaged immune systems, and that's unfortunately you. If your immune system is bad enough, the common cold can kill you, too. It's the immune damaged people who should isolate themselves from society instead of trying to quarantine the world indefinitely, because there's no way to stop every virus and infectious disease out there. Of course, you could try Thymus and Lactoferrin for your immune system, and a combination of food grade aloe vera juice, Borage oil capsules, and Boswellia capsules to improve your asthma, but I doubt you will. They have little to no side effects in the recommended dosage and are relatively cheap, but probably you prefer to give both your bank account and your life to increase Big Pharma's profits and promote Left wing politics. (So odd that the socialist Left all of the sudden trusts corporations with their bribes to politicians implicitly.) If that doesn't work, something else might. Where there's a will, there's a way, but first you have to have the will.

The doctor was surprised he was not in the hospital. He was sweating like someone was pouring buckets of water on the bed every day. I had bronchitis. We thought we were going to die alone at home. In South Korea at least, we've never had a complete lockdown like in Europe -- I believe it only crashes the economy and at least everyone around me is against the idea of strict quarantine. But we have different stages of prevention measures, albeit it gets quite confusing sometimes. I think what really helped us avoid the worst is that the government maximized the use of technology and eventually allowed the track-and-treat method to work properly.

In Europe, especially in Austria, a lot of people now are against disclosing their information via app and everything plus saying the government is hiding something More and more people now are protesting too against the lockdowns I really admire SK and how they handled it from the beginning

I love how he was watching "Go Go Squid" in the background while doing his run. Haha. I'm moving to Japan on January 20th 2021 and I will be in Quarantine in Tokyo . Mike mentioning to bring a better bath towel, I definitely got up and put one in my suitcase lol. Though, I know Japan is different from South Korea, I don't have much reference for what a Japan quarantine will be like.

I've been watching a lot of these Quarantine videos just to see what they eat. LOL You were actually lucky to get a microwave. Everyone actually seem to enjoy their time there, I guess it's a nice break. Also, Ottogi Tuna IS wayyyy better than Starkist. They also sell it at Korean markets here in the US, in different flavors.

I think the quarantine food is good and I actually like that the portions are not that big, as people need to stay in the room for two weeks and not everyone exercises, so it's good to control how much you eat! If you're hungry, you can order more food yourself anyway like Mikey did.

I went through something very similar to you, regarding living and travel. I'm a writer, and I moved to Ireland in June of 2019. I was supposed to go home within a year, but COVID hit 3 months before my departure date. I've been through 3 lockdowns, and had my permission extended 5 times. Occasionally I'd be given a brief window to return back to the United States, but comparing the COVID situation back home to Ireland - and looking at some of the news back home - I thought that it was the best choice to stay away for now. Glad to see that you got through it!

This is a very interesting and personal video diary of a quarantine in a foreign country. I love Korean food - and it is very cool to see it in such a state, almost like refugee camp rations or train food (although I'll be train food in Korea is better). I look forward to seeing the next video in the timeline. Thanks Mikey.

@Manisha Sinhababu yeah media portrayal is veryyyy different from reality. At least in the U.S. for adolescents. I can't speak for everybody but when I was a kid going in and out of mental hospitals (in two different states) they were all awful. the doctors where I was at were basically trying to drug everyone up, and most times I couldn't go outside. if I did, it was a small courtyard. unfortunately the way these places were structured, they made things for me far worse in the end. they would use punishment, tranquilizers and restraints to get people to behave. it was a pretty traumatizing experience for me. I wish it was like the K-dramas :/
