If this is the case, it’s very smart and obviously working and I hope it continues to bring him success

Hmm. For some damn reason, I've found myself watching and listening to this guy's countless shorts, he posts almost daily. I'm not a hater. I'm definitely not trying to be spiteful, cruel, or mean. Tastes change over time as you grow older. This younger generation of guitarists seem to mostly be practicing, trying to play as fast as humanly possible, and kind of disregarding playing rhythm guitar as crisp and clean and consistent as possible. This topic isn't really talked about very often, but, King Edward (Van Halen) was a very underrated rhythm player. Eds rythum play was always kind of overlooked, or at least mostly not talked about, when it came to his rhythm play. Maybe because all of his songs had such ground breaking, epic solos, it's always been kind of overlooked. Ed is a perfect example of what I'm about to say. Today's young guitarists get caught up with always just wanting to play fast, and strangely technical. Almost no thought about making sure that it's still melodic friendly, and works really well with the entire song, like it totally belongs there. Playing crazy fast, obscure scales, does not automatically make you a great 🎸 guitarist 😮. Almost from day one, the first thing that i noticed was Ed's rhythm play was absolutely flawless in every way, especially all those melodic fills, and, pick attacks. These young guitarists don't focus on writing great melodic songs, for their solos. It was always about the song, first. Personally, ive always thought that Ed was the greatest rythum guitarist of all time, also the greatest soloist of all time hands👇 down. And, one of the greatest songs writers of all time. This guy here, reminds me of that dude who loves to stand in front of his mirror all day. It became obvious to me that theatrics are more important, than writing, and playing great songs. It's now more like a contest, to see how many likes they can get on Tic toc, and comments calling them the fastest gun in the world 🌍. This gentlemen isn't even half as good as he thinks he is. I guess you don't know what, you don't know. Yes, the Freebird solo is not very technical, or impossible to play. This guy doesn't quite seem to understand why this famous solo is so iconic. Jeez, what a shame.
