I really like this pattern. I have made three for myself so far and sister just asked for three dishcloths. So I will be making 3 of this pattern for her. Thank you for teaching this through video. Your voice is easy to listen too. Definitely easy and FUN, as someone commented previously. Again thank you

Beautiful pattern, I would adjust one thing. Before prepping for scallop edging, I'd do a single crochet around in the red first, it makes the transition to white neater and the v's in the stitches are set up. This avoids that obvious jagged look on the white dropping into the red.
@TheCrochetCrowd3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. One thing about changing the pattern changes the quantity of the yarn used and some people get upset about it.

Thanks, I was able to put the edging around an already made dish cloth to make it a little bigger. It also looks very pretty with the scallops. Your instruction is flawless.❤

Easy Peezy & fun too! I love 2 hour projects. It's very satisfying to complete something so quickly or make a bundle of dishcloths as a gift in 1 day. Keep inspiring, thanks Mikey 🧶

I must add that after making these AND actually using them, they are the BEST dish clothes I've ever used!!! They scrub really well while protecting my cookware. They dry super fast too. Plus they are such an easy quick project that You can make a bunch of them and throw away the old one you've been using.

I was so excited when I saw your dishcloth cloth they were so pretty in the picture. And then when I was going to work though I couldn't get your tutorial to work. I could hear you talk but the pictures just say it stayed the same. I was very sad I don't know why it was like that. Hope next time I may be able to see it. I haven't had trouble with any other tutorials. See you later

Hi Mikey, Just curious why the pattern ..If I'm hearing you correctly.. you shell them skip 2 sc in the next st then skip only one to start next shell in the second stitch from the sc.. S.. SC skip 1 Shell skip 2 SC skip 1 Shell is it Skip 2 after shell only in corner?? ..Is this correct for this trim??

Is it close to a 'spritz cookie' cloth? Because I finished hers from her video yesterday and today I feel like I'm repeating somehow... Great video though!

I want to make these as place mats for the Christmas table setting. If I made 2 sides twice as long, would the counts still come out and work? Is there a better idea? Any suggestions you can give would be super appreciated ☺

As per my understanding the first row of the border should have 5x +1 stitches.

Hook size? Didn’t catch it and weight of yarn?
@dianesuder77153 жыл бұрын
It's a size 'H'. Antonella, next time this happens if you click on the show more just under the video it has a link to the patten. There you will find the hook size. Lily Sugar'n Cream is a 4 ply yarn. Label doesn't show a weight. Happy crocheting.
