I know this tutorial is now 4 yrs old but I'm so happy i found your tutorial. I also have to thank you for saying to keep at it...that the pattern improves after the first few rows. I wasn't sure when i first started it but now I love it! It's my favorite dishcloth pattern so far (and I've made more than a few). Very easy pattern and very pretty!

I learned a major lesson today about cotton yarn. I bought numerous rolls of Sugar and Cream yarn to make some dishcloths and hand towels for my daughter and future daughter-in-law for Christmas. I have never used cotton yarn and this is very hard for me to crochet with. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands so I am not sure if I am going to have them made in time for Christmas.

I love this and it's so easy to follow. However when I am doing it, and I have done quite a few, the spritz pattern on mine don't seem to be as definitive as yours. I can really see the spritz design in yours, but not mine. What could I be doing wrong? I am following it exactly and count my stitches as well...

Hi I am very anxious to try this pattern there’s something I do not understand and maybe you can answer a question for me. When you do the two stitches together and then chain one wouldn’t make your project smaller because you’re crocheting two stitches together?
@chaysiecrochet5 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you for your comment! To your question...No, the chain 1 is making up for that 2nd stitch. 😁

I've made a lot of dish scrubbies/cloths with cotton yarn... after a day or so they start smelling :( and still smelly after washing. I thought using cotton yarn whould prevent this...
@chaysiecrochet5 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no. There are many different methods you can Google to clean dish cloths effectively to eliminate the odor. Vinegar, diluted bleach, baking soda, I personally throw them in with the towels and wash them a little more frequently... (I've had to toss a few dish cloths over the years...lol)

What am I doing wrong... I've had to start over a couple of rows because it keeps fanning out maybe I'm not doing my first single crochet at the right spot at the end... I don't know cause I'm not really seeing where the first single crochet is going because of the dark color you're using... I give up!!!
@chaysiecrochet5 жыл бұрын
Hi Nicole! At 15:02 you will see where exactly I go in at the end. Make sure you count your stitches across for the 1st few rows to make sure you are getting the correct # of stitches in until you have it down pat but there's really not much to this particular pattern. If it's fanning out, it's possible you are adding more than you should be within the row?
