Divine Dominique Khalfouni was a star, very in advance esthetically for her time, Étoile of the Paris Opera Ballet, mainly a romantic ballerina, who danced with Baryshnikov, Noureev, Ganio, Godunov, Guizerix, Bryans, Lormeau, Dupond, Legris, Hilaire, etc. She left Paris Opera to go as a star at the Ballets de Marseille, Roland Peti's company where he created lots of roles for her. She was not a career obsessed person. She was dancing as a star from 1976 to 1992. She is the mother of Mathieu Ganio and Marine Ganio, both dancers of the Paris Opera, Mathieu being a Star himself.
