Beautiful game, thank you Sam "Boom" Copeland - the Best of Chess Channel :) i have seen the knight sacrifice but missed the rook c5 sacrifice - a true mastery requires precautions

I think this game is my favourite game ever. Some games are tactics start to finish, some are positional masterpieces, but this game is a perfect positional battle followed by one of the most aesthetic sacrifices I've ever seen. I can't imagine a sacrifice that looks nicer.

Beautiful game. I don't think there is 1 game by the great Tal that doesn't make me wish that I could have watched him in person.

My favourite Tal game!!!!!!!!!! Qb2 is a lovely move followed by Rc5. A candidate for knights on the edge immortal may be Tal-Botvinnik game 7.

It's magic how Tal's pieces just flow to life after Rc5.

The way the pieces are at checkmate is unreal.

Ah yes, resign 1 move before checkmate. You know, I think chess would really improve as a game if players allowed imminent mates to appear on the board. I understand not wanting to play out a lost position for 15 moves, but if it’s M2 or M3 let a cool mate enter the records of chess lore. newer players might want to see the mate actually happen to increase their understanding of the game
