Hi Bro, I Love love your channel. I love the soft soothing soundtrack, the simple captions, the wrist check as that gives us a visual reference (I have a 6.5 inch wrist as well) and the side by side comparison with your meteorite Tuna mod and the lume test was equally good. Of all the millions of watch videos I have watched over the years yours is the BEST : VERY CINEMATIC, SIMPLE WITH ZERO DRAMA. Do a Fashion Review where you show case this watch with various outfits (jeans, suits, shirts etc etc) with different straps. You earned my subscription and I hope your channel blossoms. Nice!!!! Mr. Cominetti is the thread of the crystal a left hand one so that counterclockwise movement of the bezel does not loosen it? This is the situation on the San Martin Monobloc Marinemaster I believe.

Do you mean the Starkey "300m" or the "1000m" ? The 1000m has a very similar construction but it's definitely bigger. The 300m has a cheaper construction, but the size are almost the same of this one.

Thanks for the video. Great quality so I can actually appreciate the watch. I've only got one Proxima so far and I'm loving it. I'm going to order the exact same variant as yours now. Btw, you mentioned BGW9 lume. But the Aliexpress description says C3 lume. Is it really BGW9 or C3? I can't tell from the video because sometimes auto white balance makes BGW9 lume look greenish.

You can choose, proxima offer both Blue and green lume dial.

@@Mikicomi23 I wasn't given an option when I ordered, aside from the bezel style. I ordered the same bezel style as yours btw,. Fully lumed. It says C3 on the one I ordered though and it's already in transit.

Mine arrived today . I got the metal band and this thing is a brick but I love it. Where did you get that stainless steel looking bezel insert ?. I think it would look great on the Proxima Tuna.

That is an older versiom of sbbn031 tuna case and in had use an aftermarket stainless steel bezel insert for skx007, the newer case on proxima, sharkey, San Martin and heidelmar Tuna don't fit anymore skx bezel inserts. But actually proxima makes some tuna with the steel insert.

@@Mikicomi23 I have to ask you this are you able to go from the third position (time setting) to day/date ?. I can only find that position if I start in the winding position.

@@12hebrewtribes On Seiko movement's (7s,4r3x, 6r1x...), pulling out the crown form the winding position you have two clicks, first for the date setting position an then for the time setting position. When you push in the crown in from the time setting position usually you can slightly feel the same two clicks and if you push the crown in very very slowly and precisely you can stop again in the date setting position, But watches with screw down crown has a strong spring inside the crown head, so when push the crown in you are also compressing that spring and that make almost impossible to feel the two clicks when pushing the crown, and even if you do it very slowly you can't have enough precision for stopping in the second position. So it's always better and easier to push the crown back in the first position and then pull it out again.

That is a great looking watch. However, it would have looked better with a Pepsi chapter ring and Pepsi Sapphire bezel. Strange how they provided that option for the Samurai & the MM300 but not the Tuna

Yep, that's true. I don't know if in the future they will make one, but on the shop they sell replacement bezel insert of different colors for this model... so you can mod it by yourself.

Yes, definitely the seiko tuna is a complitely different category: more prestigious brand and a real iconic design. But, between the tons of homages out there, I found that proxima very cool indeed. The dial is not a balant copy of the seiko and for the price( around 200$) the quality is great!
