Building out your own hardware is awesome. Amazon sells PCB boards, audio chips, and random grab bags at decent prices. Thrift stores are practically a never ending source for “broken” electronics. Like pianos marketed to the little ones. Or balls that light up and play music when they roll. It’s like being a sound sculptor whose creations cannot be found in a sample pack.

From what I found, this thing is quite expensive. How much did you pay for it?
@wigglyboots27 ай бұрын
@@SimplyDuker Grabbed it for 125 usd which is a bit higher than most stylophones but I've got a collection of pocket synthesizer things so why stop now?
@SimplyDuker7 ай бұрын
@@wigglyboots2 Just as I expected: very expensive lol. Thanks, anyway.

I love the Miku stylophone and I love the mods too! The sounds it makes now are so cool and also hilarious at times. :) I tried to buy it once, but it never came and got auto-refunded. I hope I get to have it one day.

Great video. you should try using a infrared remote control on a LDR if you haven't before.

I remember when you first started posting video about circuit bending. You were barely out of diapers. Now look at you, all grown and competent, with your own pedals and merch. At you're still the same wild Magpie, all the same. Thanks for being you.

Here’s an idea. Could u add these switch nob thingys and light censers to a headphone wire? Like the ‘garbage mixer’ video you did? Like make a feedback loop with that modded wire.

I feel like Circuit-bent Miku needs to end up in a Cuckoo collab video in the future 😉
