Oh my gosh I found out who the boy is!!!! He is a representation of the Vocaloid fanbase! Since we helped Miku out in songs and grow as a idol( yeah voice, but it still counts as a persona). And think about it, the Vocaloid fanbase have always been there, hence in the pv we see the boy and Miku when she was young,but he is still a young adult.Also the fanbase is made mostly of young people, that is why we don't see him as a old man or growing up beside her (childhood friends since birth). Also why a male, some would argue about it being a male demographic, but I see it as a way of thanking the fanbase. The kiss wouldn't happen with a girl (it could, but that would leave to controversy back in 2007 before a gay right law has been nationalize or socially accepted). So I finally found out why it would be a male ( exceptionally someone we don't know) like the snow song for Snow Miku in 2015 I think. Yay now I can finally rest when I see a male with Miku. Except vocaloids I mean producers would do that for their and the people's interest. Example Kaito and Miku or L and R. The only exception is if the music is good like Cantrillion.

11 years later and she is still going strong, with a ton of new memories, and live with a symphony orchestra playing some great instrumental versions of Vocaloid songs last year together with her fellow Vocaloids and even Teto got to be on stage. I can’t wait to see see if she will still be here in another 10 years.

No offense, but in my opinion it shouldn't be an anime. It's already unique by itself, a software that managed to create over 100 000 songs, have video games sold, and have concerts held every year. In anime, you can't control what the mangaka or the animators want to happen. If you have a vocaloid though, it's all yours, and you can create literally any song. Also, what would the anime be about? If, let's say, each episode is based on one song, then we will have like 100000000 episodes. Also, I feel kind of proud to say that vocaloid is not an anime. It's in a whole other genre of its own. I mean, this is my view of it, and I respect your opinion, but why turn something so unique and different into something so common like an anime?

I love the idea in this mv's universe, anyone could just BUY a vocaloid robot and there are probably multiples of the same robot everywhere. Her tenth anniversary was the other day and wow this was such a large part of my childhood and its crazy that when this PV was made all of those songs were still relatively new.. Now they're well known and its crazy how popular in the US she's become, 8 years ago I never would've even thought that target would sell miku merch or even that she'd have an English voicebank.
