It wasn't an accident, though. It was choice. In that moment, power matter more than Bae and he let go. He regretted it, yes, and he searched for his son afterwards, which is great. But it doesn't change what happened or how deeply it scarred Bae. Milah abandoned her son and it was equally as selfish, but she pointed at the entire reason she was in purgatory was because of her guilt and regret over doing it. She wanted to make it up to Neal as well, but Rumple robbed her of that chance.

He worked to find him, but then once he did, all he wanted to do was use magic on Bae as a quick fix, once again showing his son that magic was still the most important thing. And when Bae rejected that idea and didn't immediately welcome him back with open arms, Rumple doesn't really bother with him. He just spends the rest of the season hurting people with a brainwiped Belle. He actually doesn't do that much to try and repair the relationship with his son. 2) I've already stated that I think Milah was a crappy mom for leaving him like she did. But the whole reason she's in purgatory is because of her guilt over abandoning him. She wanted a chance to make things right and there's no reason why she wasn't deserving of one. Rumple is constantly given chances after chances. No matter how many times he has spat on his son's sacrifice by behaving like a power hungry maniac.

Because the quote-unquote "heroes" of OUAT don't see Rumple as a real, thinking, feeling person, they only see him (and treat him) as some sort of sub-human "other" which is beneath them and doesn't deserve such human considerations as empathy or fellowship, which, ironically enough, only reinforces his darkest impulses and makes him lash out at them all the more. Think about it, after all the shit Regina did to everyone they still somehow managed to forgive her and treat her with compassion and love. Can you think of ANYONE in the main cast of characters outside Belle who has ever shown Rumple anything more than resentful tolerance or barely concealed contempt...? Maybe try a little positive reinforcement, fuckwits, it worked wonders with Regina.

It's not so much slut-shaming as it is playing up an awkward situation. It wasn't that she had sex with two different men. It's that those men happen to have had close relationships with Milah. Again working backwards shed have gotten pregnant in the summer of 2000, turning 17 that October. Neal's age is on the wanted poster.
