I also enjoyed seeing this, it looked so realistic. It does give a sense of distance, especially for the freight trains. But equally commuters will be travelling from the surrounding districts by train. I do admire your modelling skills, which obviously requires a great deal of care, time and patience. It also demonstrates an excellent level of detail. Just watching this makes me feel I could be on a train and heading out to the countryside for a pleasant walk, as shown by the vegetation near the line. I also love the way that you are able to contrast both urban/ industrial and more rural scenes in different parts of the layout.

You must be one helluva dedicated model railroader the manner in which you have given your apartment over to the hobby.

Great video Susannah! Thanks for the Cab-View tour. I do like that Frank Pick/Art Deco style signal box. A rare little piece, up here anyway. I hope you enjoy the Basingstoke show that's happening on the 12th and 13th March and don't depend on Sunday to be the quieter day, as I found out at Glasgow there! Enjoy y'self! All the best. Keep Well Susannah. Cheers now! (PS...I watched the Grand Tour there twice. Hope you don't mind. !:^)

I think you have surpassed Berringer even in its golden days. Never really doubted that you would do that. It is amazing what you can do in a limited space en with limited means. Long live the Queen of Lean.

Susannah - Track Cam has really shown off the layout very well it is looking brilliant . The extended area is a credit to your modelling skills as it really works well and the driver eye shots show how much detail and effort you have put in.. Excellent and looking forward to more track cam footage. Cheers Kev

Superb, especially the new sidings with all the trees. To me, things always look better from a driver’s perspective and it’s amazing how less pronounced our inevitably tight curves seem.

That was wonderful Susannah, you truly are the Queen of small space modeling. This took me back to the Berringer days. Your carpentry and modeling skills have really improved since those days. I was thrilled with the cab ride. Perhaps you could make a video showing us where you store the sections when not in use and just how easy it is to assemble it for a running session. Regards, David.
