As a Brit, I thank you for providing such excellent and defined information about this bike and sharing your experience of it. I can't wait to ride one in the UK. 310 miles on a full tank, and 87 miles to the gallon is great too. I look forward to the vibes, coming from a CB500X.🙏

With that kind of traffic, sure. Here in New Zealand on my 2019 CRF250 Rally I'm mostly riding around 90 km/h on back roads (including gravel) but if I'm going any real distance on a major road then I cruise at 112-113 which is a real low vibes sweet spot for it and it has really surprisingly good wind/rain protection at that speed. Not as good as my 1995 BMW R1100RT (owned from new) of course, but perfectly acceptable for a 300-400 km day ride, while I'm happy to do 800+ km on the BMW. In contrast I had a MT-03 loaner for a day recently: beautiful engine, and much higher speed and acceleration possible than the CRF250 (probably similar to the Himalayan 450), but I could not stand to ride it over 90 km/h for any length of time as it was just toooo tiring. The Himalayan 450 seems like a possible eventual replacement for the 250 Rally (the original Himalayan was not) instead of just stepping up to a 300 Rally or 350 or whatever Honda has by the time I pull the trigger (if ever). But that windscreen looks inadequate. Maybe the official Adventure Windscreen is ok.

Top video and hello from Europe. The biggest comfort factor for crusing speed for me, so long as your engine can take you that fast and the road is ok for it, is windblast. I love the Himalayan but I think the screen is much too small. That would be the first thing I'd swap out for a larger aftermarket option. You could add 30km/h to your comfortable speed with a better screen. That screen looks like it could be 20cm wider and 10cm higher.

I find the most comfortable bikes split weight between legs, bottom and arms… the zx6-r g/j ninja did a good job but got progressively more sporty as time went on and put too much weight on the wrists but each to their own. My euro 4 Himalayan gets a bit uncomfortable on the back because it’s too upright, especially if I wear a Kreiga rucksack

On my R1100RT (owned for 28+ years so far) at 110 it feels like you're not even moving and it's almost impossible not to let the speed creep up to 120. When I travel between Auckland and Wellington I take deserted (but smooth) back roads and cruise at 140. On my little CRF250 Rally 90-100 is super relaxed and comfortable, but 110-115 is just fine for several hours if that's what the traffic is doing -- it's got pretty great wind protection for a dirt bike.

Great video Jas, covered pretty much all the points I wanted to know about as an Interceptor owner planning to add another bike in the stable. However like you mentioned, I'm gonna wait at least a year to see how the reliability of this new bike is. My Interceptor had been notorious in the first year of ownership with almost all the electrical parts failing and requiring a replacement. (RR unit, relays, instrument console, side stand sensor, fuel pump). I'd rather pay more money and get a rock solid reliable bike than get one at an introductory price and face potential failures every now and then.

Excellent review video mate! I expect when it comes here in February 2024 it will have had a lot of little problems ironed out after first release versions have been tried and tested over there in India. Maybe that's why it's been done that way. A new bike that's been brought out could suffer if the first release has problems.

@4:10- a good practical pep talk on cruising speed. This has always been a topic that when novoice join the ride group initiates. Practically even if you have the best bike, Indian roads are not straight, with plane surface and without any sidewalker or cattle protection. In such scenarios you can achieve 150 or above for a short spell but non way on long run. Generally riding over hours or days, in my experience my average speed has been around 80 something.

Thanks.. I have no idea about the XT600.. I havent seen it in India.. so cant comment. But this one is sure fun to ride on a budget.. although you will miss the power compared to a 600

Very Beautifully Convinced all things at Once.👌👌👌💐 Nobody Cruise at 140km/ph for Longer Time and Also No Need that Bullshit Speed, Every Bike Face Air During Crusing, Gt 650 and Interceptor 650 making touring Bike by modifying is Rediculous, Hideous and Pathantic because that Bike has Different Reputation and Different Tashan, New Himm 452 Re Engineered Everything by Seeing Older Himm 411 Problems so New Himm 452 is Solid, Top Notch, High Quality, New Himm has Many Advantages, New Powerfull Engine, Good Digital Speedometer Even Circle Looks Awesome and Etc etc etc etc 🙏🏻💐

Thanks for the video. I've seen the odo screen flicker in all of the videos. Is there a solution to that because I plan to motovlog with the 452?

Thanks for the review bro. I’m sure this bike is perfect for 60/40% for road/off-road biased. I’m pretty exited about the rally version. Let’s see what Re have for that model

In Italy we say "bread to bread and wine to wine," which is to say things clearly as they are, kudos for clarity. I have a Meteor, which has (for me) the only flaw of low power. I hope R.E. will introduce this new engine also on a "New Meteor" or, why not, on a "New Scram" 😉 Cheers!

I'm in Australia and highway speeds are 110kmh. Faster on the back roads where there is less traffic and speed cameras. The H450 sits on 110-120kmh no problem. It can overtake cars at 130-140kmh by dropping back to 5th gear and hitting the gas. No problem.

talking about windscreen protection R15 has excellent protection for the price. that Yamaha is aerodynamic and you won't feel fatigued on long hauls even though its a sport bike

Please consider the European clients when reviewing. Here in Europe you have to drive at 130kmph on the highway. And we should be able to go faster for security purposes so we need those kind of information when we consider ordering an indian bike

I remember when the Japanese bikes come out they had vibration but over the years they have kind of perfected the vibration a bit better most single bikes will vibrate slightly very hard for engineers to get rid off totally
