Good ole "Waterworks Curve" 7:00 Guaranteed to have an accident on the northbound side every Friday morning or afternoon. The Stack at 9:00 claimed a life when being erected. Gentlemen fell from the very top. There's days I'd rather be driving in rush hour traffic in ATL than drive the I-20 I-55 section. I'll be glad when they get that whole interchange done too.

@vickie west some days I knew better and got off on High St exit, catch State St to Lakeland Dr and got back on 55N. There are things I miss about living in the area. The jacked up roads and traffic aren't one of them.

Lived there when I was a teenager, went to Forest Hill High school, worked part time as car hop at White Grill and at Thorten service station. Lived in the Van Winkle area. From What I have heard in the years since I lived there, I would not like to live there now!!!!

I'm from Jackson and drive semi trucks and surprisingly we have some of the better highways in the country considering the economic difference compared to more wealthy states.... but don't drive on our city streets lol

At 9:00.00 you exited Hinds County and entered Rankin County.... Well, I now see you knew that. FYI, Rankin County is a much nicer place and that is where Robin Williams' great grandfather lived. He was the Governor of Mississippi. He authored the MS Constitution after the Civil War during Reconstruction when Mississippi rejoined The United States.
