Old is Gold The new Prado might boast a rugged exterior, but its cramped interior feels more suited for a family car than a serious off-roader. The tight second row and lack of space are a major letdown. The older Prado, however, continues to impress with its timeless design and spacious, comfortable interior. It's no wonder it remains a popular choice for official vehicles in many countries. Toyota needs to prioritize interior comfort and space in future models, especially if they want to compete with the established off-roaders.

If you don’t have a 150 it’s worth considering grabbing a 250 if you can afford it. If you do have a 150 best to stick with it and look after her.

in the U.S old model prado was sold as the Lexus GX460 V8 gas , now we have the lexus GX550 v6 gas , and LC model 4cy hybrid my choice GX 550

I had a test drive with new Prado ( US market LC250) . I can say driving pleasure is close to FJ Cruiser , not close to Land Cruiser 300 or even LC200 models. I was disappointed.

The 250.does not look like the Prado, has no traditional Prado resemblance like the 150 had with the 120 when the 150.was released. Why Toyota wasted the Prado name.plate, baffles me...Dislike the front end of the 250. Love it's interiors though. The 150's interiors were quite lame but the exterior in my opinion was a lot better looking.

250 has less payload, less fuel capacity, and less range than the 150.. They're charging more money but giving less to the overlanders out there.
