Sadly Milena will change her ball ... Personally I think it's her best routine, I'd like more the idea of changing her clubs (hate the song 🙈) or the ribbon (overused, really overused)

How do we differentiate a split arabesque pivot and a front scale pivot?

This is just different term for the same difficulty. I use split arabesque but front scale means the same generally, and is maybe more used in

Anway am I the only one REALLY disappointed for the ribbon 's music choice? Milena had always original and never banal musicz, Vivaldi, especially the summer is so overused, I get it was a tribute to Italy (starting with a Japanese music and finishing with an italian one), but I did expect something more orginal from Baldassarri and Cantaluppi (her coach)

I agree, I also don't like the choreography of the ribbon this year, it's all throw/catch, seems like a linoy routine. Meanwhile Raffaeli's ribbon choreography is a masterpiece

Yeah, but this is only the theoretical difficulty. Comparing her performances with gymnasts with similar theoretical difficulty leads me to the conclusion, that this year is a bad year for execution in general. Whether this is caused by a lack of consistent training during quarantine or the planned content in a routine being way too high, I can't tell, maybe it's both.

65.9 She's one point behind Harnasko who's in 4th place. Unfortunately I find that Baldassarri have a lot of catch AD that could disappeared due to not catching without visual control (depend also on how judges are lenient and angle).

I really don't understand why arabesque pivot looks like a penche. What's the difference? :)

Hello :) The differences are in the heel and the trunk position: - penche: trunk below horizontal + heel touching the ground 0.4 for the first 360° then 0.1 for each additional turn - arabesque pivot (also called font scale too): trunk at the horizontal (parallel to the floor) + heel high up not touching the ground (called releve position) 0.5 for the first 360° then 0.2 for each additional turn
