earnest roper the stadium was singing 🎤
@IamJesusWalks6 жыл бұрын
ProfSnipes1 To say "the stadium was singing" is just like saying "we passed around a sign that said Pass This To Your Neighbor If You Love Jesus, Only Sinners Won't Pass It," and it made its way around. Generally folks sing church music if they know it... #1 As a sign to spectators that they "know the Lord..." and want to be seen as such, and #2 Because it's generally a thing to do as religion or spirituality hits to most comfort zones at any given time, particularly if it gives good or calming vibes. Who wants to be seen sitting in a seat, mean muggin with they arms folded to church music, when you can't even tell a bunch of black followers that NOT typing "Amen" doesn't mean you actually denying God. These folk don't know better, and it's damn near tradition to honor God regardless of this situation... please leave yourselves out of it! The only person who couldn't have had the stadium singing along is Trump and Omarosa...
@sbwos6 жыл бұрын
Beginning of the show had mountains of energy. The dance line feature wasn't to impressive. Miles sounds awesome never thought I'd say it. But the sound and and volume was perfect for the stadium. I got back into the show as it went along great energy again. I applaud the gospel feature but could have done without the choir. Overall miles great representation of the SIAC. GLAD TO SEE YOU MADE IT

A great show. The energy was definitely there. For every mountain was nice. Although it didn't have the same effect as how excellent in QC. Although I think bad mic feedback may be the culprit. It was difficult to hear the vocalist clearly.

Awe man... I was with Miles for a minute. Half way through I was like this is good stuff. Then the choir 😕😕. Now while that would have been great for a home show with a gospel tribute this was supposed to be a battle. Now I have to look back at PV with the crooked lines ⚟ and see what I can dig up... And they have power and a nice sound too. Oh well... 😶😶

Miles let me down .. I thought they would be #2 tonight . But doing the “gospel gimmick” is old now. It worked in Charlotte and by all means they rocked that in Charlotte. But geez.. be more creative. This is why A&T stay ahead of others on the field . Smh 🤦♂️.

monster boy300 yea I was there too . If you think A&T Show was boring then all credibility that you might have had is gone. Some of us who are actual music educators judge on more then “cranking” . Let’s not speak from a bias fans position, but more done from a musical excellence position.

Miles never in life will be better than SU. Matter of fact, yall not even close NOW.
@IamJesusWalks6 жыл бұрын
The Drummajor entrance was about two 8-counts too long. Shoulda ended at the splits... everything after that was lackluster and unnecessary. 1st song choice: Neck. Not only did it remind me of TXSU coming out the hole to Neck, but the movements were oddly similar to the same exact moves as TXSU does to the same song. Unless that's a tribute or a slug to TXSU---hated it! Not original. Downfield Drill was pretty cool. I would've preferred for the "M" to be designed with a continuous flow of movement, instead of an 8-count pause. "I'm your baby Tonight" was cool, But that "My Prerogative" went on forever. That song is not even that great to be stopping and restarting again... I was over that song for sure! Then those Miles dancers are RathchetAF.... They are Alcorn Dancers + JSU dancers, but on steroids! I don't even wanna spend anymore time on them. They needed to just Praise Dance and getta better routine than that! I also didn't care for the transitions in band formations. At one point they were signaling Aliens right before spelling "SIAC" ...they had to have spelled something else, it was just too much unnecessary movement for them to not have. Then they drop that to walk into a different formation that was disorganized? Nah. Just too much! Gospel Song at the end. Not my favorite. I think they should've had better use of their Flags for a song like this at a major BOTB. I mean, unless it had a different effect in the stadium, I didn't see the use of the song, or its choir, and lead singer make or break the performance. The singer, choir, nor band had a climactic point during that song at all. The singer seemed to give the typical 11 o'clock service vocals. There was nothing Easter Sunday special about it. In all, I give this show a C+
