I am very impressed!!! Miles came to a show of established heavyweights and proved they can hang. Whoever sang the concert selection needs to be on Sundays Best this year. Those vocals were on point!!! She should have sang the national anthem

I'm going to make it my business to go and see this band this season. I live in B'ham and apparently I'm slipping. NO block band and they went straight into gospel. I don't know the band director but you outclassed every band there on this occasion!! It was over at 10:38 when you turned around, the crowd stood to their feet and started praising, and you started directing them!! Then you had sense enough to march off the field, methodically, and not play another note!!! Great job to you and your musicians Sir!!!

I won't lie. You would have needed to be their I'm person to feel the Intensity of not only Miles but all bands. For this to be most if their first performances standwise and fieldwise we are all in for a great marching season. Coming from a fellow HBCU Marching Alumni (Tuskegee University). Far from home but I will always support all HBCU's and all HBCU's from Alabama!!! Toast to a great start to the marching season. March in bandana and bandswoman.

Not to say they couldn't just leave it as-is at the end. But, the crowd was ripe for a song coming off the field. Something most everyone knew. The crowd was already in singing mode...just had to give the ending that crispness. Good show, none the less

WOW #MILES!👏 OMG! Man you guys never ceases to amaze me! Had me in tears! Yes indeed! I mean that was an absolutely amazing performance! Trust me, you guys have made your mark in this HBCU band game! Believe that shat! Man Miles came to do war! That Director not playing, and he don't back down from no band! The only reason Miles not as popular, is because they're in the #SIAC! Miles have NO other competition in the #SIAC! The best is in the #SWAC! Our style of play way more popular with the fans, and that's why the #SWAC more popular than the #MEAC! The #MEAC sound is amazing though! They just have more of a symphonic style of play, and young folks usually not into that good sound. If Miles was in the #SWAC, a lot bands would have their faces cracked! Believe that! Here's to an awesome upcoming season! BRAVO! 🙌😍
