@@amexemoor443 To my knowledge, Miles didn't play a Flugelhorn. I'm not sure what brand the cornet is, heck I don't even know what brand of trumpet he played (👀 and I play the trumpet myself). @@norabiddogz8673 It is a flugelhorn. Miles always played Martin trumpets from the beginning of his professional career. And the flugelhorn he used for his recordings with Gil Evans was a Martin. I know because I had the same one. Why some may think it is a cornet is because Martin Flugelhorns were shaped differently than other brands such as Couesnon and Yamaha and also the bell isn't a large.
