Wonderful concert. I'd listen to Miles in Rio de Janeiro, but was the time of "fusion". I prefer that style, more cool, modern and tradicional at same time.

@@JCR1992 Jan Lohmann lists the quintet playing 5 consecutive days/nights at the 'Hungry I' presumably a jazz club in San Francisco - December 25-29 -1964 - with the note Columbia unissued.

The spirit and soul of Miles Davis was truly carved out of the mud and soil of the Delta. The infusion and abstraction of the “Blues” is laced throughout this set. What musical artist has experienced the breath and depth of content and musical associations that surrounded Miles and protected him on his journey to finding the right notes and novel vistas.
