I think the prowler is super effective because of the way he was written, hes not a generic villain but in almost every scene is treated as a horror movie monster, his first appearance was him jumping out of the dark towards the screen and it works amazingly, he has this presence thats only trifled by kingpin. I would like to think the prowler theme represents fear in miles, when he was first getting chased it was loud and violent because it was his first time seeing him, later in the encounter in Aaron’s apartment, the theme can be heard but not as loud, but when prowler takes off his mask it immediately becomes super loud, showing how scared and shocked miles is, the louder the siren, the more miles is afraid
