What I like about Maximilian Dood is that when he plays a randomizer he will investigate everything at least once. All the other KZbinrs/streamers are like "Hey y'all we got a new randomizer here. Let's check it out and see what's new!" (Runs past literally everything)

These are probably already recorded, but I’m pretty sure that when the bosses randomizes the second phase, there has to be a model change for it to swap bosses. So Blood-Starved Beast being second form Orphan of Kos the entire fight was because the BSB’s second phase is a fighting change. Just the two cents of a game Dev student.

That's how it works yer. The game has both models loaded in at the start with the phase 2 model loaded under the map. When it's time they swap positions and it's hidden underneath some effects.

I really appreciate when people actually fight the enemies when they do randomized runs of these games. Most of the time on youtube, the only people you do randomized runs are speedrunners who never fight anything except the bosses, completely defeating the point of the randomizer in the first place.

1:56:00 I think it's based on gascoignes transformation - from phase 1 gascoigne being Maria to phase 2 gascoigne being Ludwig. Marias phases are based on her overall health and therefore didn't transform into something else

Honestly seeing as all soulslike games work really well with randomizers they should definitely start adding it as an option. Also metroidvanias can definitely work with it aswell (although some items might need to stay locked for game progress purposes)

Miyazaki probably wanted several suitcases of money drop on his front door first and Sony don't want to do that. My theory is thats why curious there is no remaster for the first game too. FS wants a lot of money for it, Sony says nah.

I guarantee you it's not a money issue, it's most likely just creative differences with what they've been focusing on for their futures, for example Sony seems to be pushing games as a service bigtime so there's no way they'll bother with a soulslike rn. And FromSoft are probably experimenting with new games in general

So at the very least, there are something going on over there at FS that we don't know. They most likely are already in the middle of development of their next couple of games.
