What is wild to me to be honest is just how these games even look. I can remember the secret videos of the KH games back on PS2 being this cool thing that just didn't seem aesthetically possible, then games like Remake come out proving that they can look even better *and* not just be a CGI cutscene. I remember when I was little my mom bought me FF7 when it first came out, I didn’t know anything about FF, nor what a turn base game was. I remember enjoying it and then when I got to disc 2 I got extremely overwhelmed and never finished the game. I gotta say, before this comes out: what a time to be alive, this is an absolute event! I bought a PS1 as a teenager when OG FF7 first dropped in 97, and this was right after I got an N64 for xmas the year before. Needless to say, my parents were a bit confused. I preordered the collector's edition of rebirth and took 2 weeks off of work for it. Also talked to my wife and she knows this is gonna be my time to sit and dive into this over that time, good thing she's a hardcore gamer too so she totally gets it. I hope everyone has a blast with this game on release day.
