demitri's fireball are not for keeping away, but kinda for cutting the opponents options while advancing. The whole games has tp be played rushdown, even the characters that are purposely meant to be keepaway (anakiris)

I like how demitri's fireballs change color in correspondence to his costume color

It's known as the pursuit attack and you input Up + all punches or kicks it works on the sweeps and the ES moves.

Demitri's dash is strange, but it's great, because while you can't stop in mid-dash, you can use any special/super move during it, including his GODLIKE LP dashing (or backdashing) DP. Safe, great range, hi priority. Once you start intimidating the other guy with your teleporting DP, you can start mixing it up with his teleporting command/super grabs.

Yup, the fireballs in Hunter are rather standard, bigger hitbox, ES can lead to juggles, in this they're to be treated more like a shield to move behind. But the ES has the added bonus of leaving the opponent in a stunned state to follow up with a free combo.

I main Dimitri and he is all about fundamentals. He is the Mario of the game, he can do a bit of everthing while not excelling at anything.

In any other case, I'd be inclined to agree with you. But with Demitri, they actually have a point with his Midnight Bliss move. So much extra work goes into that one move. Because twice the character models would have to be made, it would take a considerable amount of time, space, and RAM to put that move in. Simply put, we won't get Demitri in crossover titles unless we agree to have the Midnight Bliss move dropped from his arsenal.

i just use double fireball motion for his supers, course im a pad player :P he also has a full circle command grab, a two hit jump in lk,mk. can low short-> fireball, or st.rh -> ex fireball for a free combo. both also go into ex srk for big damage. and if timed right u can dash through fireballs.

I love playing Gallon against Demitri. Most of these beginner players don't know I can simply WALK under fireballs.

Max, demitri's fireballs are basically just for stone-wall defense. Tiger knee every single one, don't jump then throw.

Max, when cornered, use the shoryuken + 3 kicks super with Demitri, it's pretty fast and it was invincible on the original Darkstalkers 3.

I've actually seen a decent amount of Rikuos on XBL. Bishamon and Raptor are pretty rare, though. I'm actually amazed I haven't ran into many Morrigans. I've probably seen more Lilith than Morrigan.

Alright so Max, you want to figure out how to make your dash "good", well first as you probably noticed, you can get out of alot of situations with it since you can dash through your opponent (aka get out of the corner) BUT what you've seemed to missed is that you can cancel it into your dp. Wich pretty much gets rid of the problem that it's not invincible (if you have a good read about a certain situation.) Also love the videos!

The very reason why he was excluded was because of that very move. Needing alternate 3D models for every character takes too much effort. I would rather them take that move out and replace it with Midnight pleasure, than have him excluded entirely.

I'm kinda sad that the HD rerelease of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure didn't get as much attention as Darkstalkers has been :/ I would have loved to see a lot of people online like there have been for this and Marvel 1.

I understand, but they could easily replace it with Midnight Pleasure. It works the same way, so it wouldn't be problematic from a game play standpoint. Backlash? Well, unless they replace the move, we won't see him in a"good"crossover title, so why not compromise? Since when do fans cease complaining about anything? They wouldn't be satisfied if they were given gold, so backlash is inevitable anyway.
