I do love the moment Max learned how to counter, he disregarded blocking a ton haha, even against characters that specifically grapple. Silly Max, you cannot counter a wrestler or submission based. But I approve, countering in this game is satisfying.

People in the chat should've told him that with KB, you can use the strong grapple clinch when the opponent is near-KO, get them in Danger. From there, you can keep at it with a KB knockout or use the strong SF attack (Okay, Max adjusted and is using the SF attack more often)

He started doing constant double jabs and that's actually a smart thing to do until you find an opening or until the AI looses balance and i mean literal balance, if you land enough jabs constantly without the opponent falling down then they will start to loose balance and resistance to dizzy, you know the lost balance when they start to get knocked back by weak jabs, thats when you try to go for a heavier hit. Ofc this resets if they fall down.

Wish someone would explain the stun system to Max. Players & AI have the same stun system and no character has more "stun ability" than another. It's not a statistic in the game. Entire thing works off a down system. You have a stun after a first down and the next time you (or the AI) goes down you can get right back up. Recovery is based off speed you tap buttons at. Higher difficulty has lower duration on the AI, but even at full health they still give you enough time to get a second combo off if you don't screw up your inputs or waste time dancing around and just pick them right up off the ground.

Directional is usually UP to aim to the head and inflict dizzy state easier. The clinch kicks will be slower but more effective for making them get dizzy/stunned.

Remember to pay attention to the styles of ur opponents makes it easier to know what to expect martial arts are fast pace fight with strikes and counters, streetfighters will throw a haymaker at any opening, wrestling or submissions means avoiding grabs and slower movement from most etc.

You hesitate with your moves. If they twitching perfect time to hard grab. You just do regular strikes while they are on the ground. Do jab jab hard grab in one swift action. You have a slight pause in that combo.
