That 2 sided measure and side - up combo would be handy for some things for sure.

@@gnic76 yeah, I do a lot of “existing” drawings and being able to locate where certain things off walls/ceilings from the ground will be pretty helpful. Also measuring out wire from ceiling boxes..etc. I’m not sure how much I would use in in work case scenarios, but estimating and drawings for sure

There are some worthwhile features for sure especially a trim carpenter. I don't think I have many situations we're I would whip this out and use but I can see it. I do use my prexiso 3 in 1 more than I thought and since it was 20ish range at the time. I would say it's worth it at mid 30s even personally. I wonder how the touchscreen would hold up to heady duty environments get scratched screen ect. You said it feels substantial and for the price I hope so beyond thr estimater roles. As always thank you for your hard work bringing us these videos!

It’s a pretty heavy unit.. compared to the DP20. I do a lot of existing space drawings for people so being able to measure out where things are in relation (on the ceiling) is pretty handy for me. Allows me to keep it all in scale. I don’t know how much I would that feature in my actual work. It’s a bit on the pricey side if that’s a feature you wouldn’t use much. There are lots of options of these nowadays

Nice look. Would be especially good for those who never learned SOH-CAH-TOA and/or don't have a scientific calculator handy. Hmmm, there's a use for the rear pocket on our Veto bags!

@@OnusBones There are a lot of Laser Measurers that do many of those type of functions these days. It makes them handy not to have to remember the calculations… and even better to have a picture showing what measurements to take

I'm full of respect fot your patience to all those devices. I'd quit KZbin after 3rd gadget was sent to me. Not to mention that I like to buy one device, usually the most expensive one from some well known brand and use it till it won't work anymore. And at that time I am completely uninterested in other brands or new devices.

@@Stefan_Kawalec that would be how I typically purchase things myself. If I have offers for non-big name tools that don’t do anything special.. I always pass on them.

Interesting.. I’ve tried many LDM’s & I finally broke down & bought the Stabila. It’s been great so far in the year and a half I’ve used it. Very accurate and durable. The only complaint I have is that it didn’t come with a sleeve. I think I’m just a sucker for anything Stabila so I may be biased.

@@Quietvibes07 all my levels are Stabila, can’t beat them. I’ve eyeballed the LDM too

so in that scenario where you measure the distance of a ceiling light to the wall: how do you make sure the thing is squared up?
@MORGANSMaintenance5 ай бұрын
@@wim0104 you could see the angle on the screen and get it to 0 or 90 degrees. (At least for one way) Same with any other laser, you might get some variance if your laser isn’t in 100% of a straight line For me purposes and how I’d use it, I’m not sure I’d need to make sure… since I’m just measuring for estimating or drawings.
