It has a very smart look which puts me in the mind of a more specialized tool for engineering, interior design, remodel planning, or plantation shutter estimations and such. I also think it is fairly priced. I agree this is probably not the "Go To" item for construction, but then, that was probably not the intended design. I really enjoyed your review. I think you gave it an honest evaluation.

@@VincentVella-h5u yeah not a job sight tool for sure. I do drawings a lot though and sometimes that 3rd laser is nice to know where something is in a toom

Your channel is excellent sir, thanks for making it. I don't have anything interesting to say or ask, just commenting to boost engagement. :)

Thank you 👍👍 That’s as good as a comment could possibly be!

Can see it being useful for some situations, did look a little clumsy to use at times, when a tape measure would likely do just as well. Thanks for the review.

Yeah, the line segment mode is something I would for sure just use a tape measure. Even if I needed marks on the ceiling, I would just lay it out on the floor and shoot up with plumb point. I will definitely use this one when I’m going in somewhere to make a drawing… but probably not while I’m working. Appreciate your thought my friend 👍

No it won’t. This helps find certain points of measurement that’s important from long distances.

The screen "flutters" in daylight when you try to take a picture of it because the shutter-speed on your camera is high enough that you see the frequency of the screen. Depending on camera and lighting conditions you might be able to lower the shutter-speed and either increase the f.stop or lower the ISO to compensate. Probably irrelevant for this because you won't reshoot it, but might be worth remembering next time you need to take a picture of something that "flutters". This is also why if you try to take a picture under fluorescent light you see everything flutter, and other things as well.

Appreciate that. I was wondering why it wasn’t doing it inside but out. In either case you can’t see the screen in person in bright daylight on this tool. Thanks 👍

What software are you using for those drawings?
@MORGANSMaintenance Жыл бұрын
Most of those were Visio. I use it whenever I am making more reference type drawings. It’s much more user friendly for adding pictures, etc. I will use AutoCad occasionally, but not much anymore.

That one is a bit too quirky. Looks like some 60s sci-fi gadget and this time it's not an advantage. To be frank, on a small scale contractor level we just don't need too many apps and multifunctional laser measures. Leica has nice devices and programs, but they also have corporation level prices. Less than 70 people to 10k subscribers. Nice.

Yeah it’s been creeping up there… should be there pretty soon. Appreciate all your support the entire way 👍

@@MORGANSMaintenance I have very little to do with this. There are 10k people who did it.
