40:20 what you're trying to do by pasting a new blueprint over an existing, saved one is already implemented in the preview/beta branch (v0.0.8). The edit dialog has a "replace" button, that basically pastes in the clipboard contents.

Not for nothing, but I appreciate the computer graphics intro, it's both complex but shows a mastery of art, and satisfying. I came back to watch your videos with Shapez 2, so I noticed I think it changed even more better (sic).

You know what can make life easy, making platforms designed specifically for certain roles like, rotating, cutting, stacking, painting, etc. Then save them as blueprints that you can access easily from the blueprint button on the bottom right. It can make setting up assembly lines very easy and quick. Each Platform square costs only 2 points, space belts only cost 1, and you can get plenty of those points when finishing side task and leveling up. Of course, it is easy to accumulate those points in normal mode, but you can always challenge yourself in reducing the amount of points rewarded in higher difficulties.

I noticed when I started to make blueprints, I had to make them all pointing one direction, I chose North given what I saw during my researching the game, but also with functions that needed a double platform, I had to make blueprints both vertical and horizontal feeding too... so now I label the platforms... I don't like the symbols, they don't always cover my platform functions.

I've given up for now, until I get a pipe valve I'm not gonna bother trying to create a MAM as I would have to duplicate everything for every colour.. Stupid. Something I cannot believe they did not add as it really is essential to reduce machine count, we have a belt filter but no way to control pipes. Especially as when you start to build loads of machines the games performance crashes.
