It is ironic how some rock fans hate Miley but their idols praises her and even sings with her. I mean just the Roadhouse Blues feat with the guitarist of The Doors (Robby) but also Joan Jett, Billy Idol, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Deff Leapard (they wanted to make a feat). The Cranberries said that Miley's cover of Zombie is the best they ever heard and that Dolores would be so proud. And more and more...

She did the whole pop Disney bs, did the teenage crisis without even once getting a DUI or appearing smashed out of a club when all the Britney's n co were having breakdowns, she stays home, use her fame and does some PR twerking and doing wrecking ball, still no issue with justice whatsoever. Her pop image is just that. Right now, she's reached the stage where she can do whatever she wants. Does an album at home with scissors sisters and put it online for free. Doing a whole album of rock covers... She's a powerhouse.

Squier (Vista) Venus. I owned one and it was indeed the closest Fender ever came to making a Rickenbacker sound... which I think is what Courtney wanted, ala the Susanna Hoffs model Rickenbacker which was a FANTASTIC guitar.

she has been picking every song i ever loved to cover during this era...first off she drops "Midnight Sky" which has a Steve Nicks sample...a great song! Then she covers Zombie which is one of my favorite songs of alllllll time. She covers Pearl Jam. Covers "Heart Of Glass" by Blondie...and now MY FAV song off Hole's album Live Through This... this girl has TASTE!

My daughter , now an adult, was a fan of hers as a teen. Listening to Miley's younger tunes , holy hell the newer transformation vocally. Whatever she had surgically fixed has made her vocals excel on another level. It doesn't always work with other singers , as vocal surgery makes them worse , but Miley got so much better.

That's what I really like about Miley, she's always paying homage to the greats that came before her! A lot of people don't realise but she's super educated on music history and really knows her stuff.
