@@firemonkey1015maybe that would apply to Joe Elliott in the 80s and early 90s, but a lot of Photograph (and literally anything he ever did before the age of 35) requires you to basically scream in pitch. The best live recording there is of Leppard, Live In the Round from 1988, has some noticeable vocal fry even with the obviously worked on sound. Needless to say, her voice is a little more convincingly powerful by this time.

Well she ruined the song for me... I can't listen to the original anymore because her part her is just perfect. The melody of that verse sounds like it was meant this way. She blows it out of the park! Also, very cool to see how the other are appreciating her talent. Have a look at Pat Smear's smile and then Phil Collen going "WOW". She knows how to play with others, you can see it better at longer clips how she holds her mic a bit further away to match the volume of Joe.
