Nobody tops the original. Miley does do a fine job anyway you can tell she is paying a tribute introducing many younger fans to Blondie's .music. She gives a rocking performance, opposed to the laid back cool, punk rock danceable feel of Blondie. You just can't beat that awesome groove. 1970s Blondie brings back a lot of good memories. Younger generation gets a glimpse of older generation's nostalgia in this song. Deborah preceded other worldclass singers/performers Madonna, Shakira, Miley, etc. She is the best of them, all. IMO. 1:07 doing her thing like no one else can.

Cyrus did a good job. You just can't compete with a woman's punk nonchalant attitude of fame. Deborah Harry's nonchalant ambiance was copied the world over by other female singers of the era. It was sexy, impenetrable, and other worldly. She was perfection. She's a white gold masterpiece of womanhood, that today's singers lack. You don't have to tell the whole world your life story, leave a whole lot of it to mystery. Thats what Deborah Harry was in that era, a woman of mystery. And her voice was amazing. Blondie and Deborah till this day are so underrated. They moved punk into the mainstream.
