It all about timing. Her early career was teeny bop and under Hollywood Studios which didn't help her. She was far too controversial during the Bangerz era while Plastic Hearts era was largely ignored by non-Miley fans. As you see here she needed Flowers, a good song with a relatable message and a powerful story that happened to be the biggest song of the year, to win Grammys.

Hey Sam (I assume your name is Sam? Please correct me if I’m wrong). Why do you have to be a hater? This performance was objectively *excellent* and MC’s styling for this performance was spot on, and has received mostly positive feedback (obviously one can’t aim to please everyone, or one ends up pleasing no one). I do have a question though.. Does it make you feel good inside to be so hypercritical of strangers on the internet? Do you feel miserable and you’re projecting that outwards? Or are you a relatively happy person who is simply a little idiosyncratic and just fault-finding and disparaging of others as well as quite negative and judgemental towards them? I’m honestly curious! Genuinely. Because I see/know people like you and I simply don’t understand this way of being and the offering of unsolicited (and very candid) comments and feedback, more often than not on another individual’s appearance and such. I’d love to hear your perspective. ✌🏼
@cwg73160Ай бұрын
@@barbieferrari64Since when does challenging something make someone a hater? Why do you oppose people who see things that are out of place? Why do you oppose free thinking?
@barbieferrari64Ай бұрын
Hi there! I never said I oppose free thinking. That’s a bit of a leap. In MY free thinking opinion, it was an unnecessary, false and negative comment. Miley Cyrus didn’t wear a “swimsuit” to The Grammy’s. It really is such an ignorant and hateful comment to make. This dress is an archival Bob Mackie dress from his 2002 collection “To Broadway With Love”. It’s reminiscent of the iconic Tina Turner’s original dresses she wore to perform in, as was MC’s choreography and energy (I assume, a nod to the late, great, trailblazing performer). MC was there to perform and entertain (not run down to the local to grab some milk and bread), and the dress complimented her performance fabulously, with its fabulous fringe and sparkle. Mackie’s design’s are some of THE most in-demand pieces in the entertainment business, and rightly so as the man is a legend. A favourite of the likes of Tina Turner, Cher and Dolly Parton. I’m *genuinely* unsure how anyone can see this dress and think “swimsuit”.

Actually this interpretation was pretty poor,she was concentrated more in posing and trying to impress that in delivering a song which is pretty nice and doesn't need any extras.....especially at the beginning when she complained that people weren't singing.....jeeeezzzz that set the tone for the entire song.....Big miss.....

She is one of a Kind . A Voice thats powerful, that interacting so fast, Knowing Everything about Music, writes her own Songs, and is a tremendous kind of a Jury lid - OMG Never heard someone like her talking and Knowledge about Music to the „Newcomers“. She blowed my mind and I am so greatful she is in the Music. We would miss that great An Golden Magic Girl ❤️

@NituskaFinland - one minor correction: "that _whole_ thing" It was terrific! (She gave off Tina Turner vibes - in all the best ways - and looked absolutely gorgeous and sounded great!) She wowed me, and I was not a fan of hers before. ⚡🌠🏆🧨

@@M0t0Daddy I'm Colombian, you know? And of course I live super proud of Shakira, but she has conquer all already and now that her new album is coming I'm sure that she'll receive many awards; but it was about time to be fair to Miley's career as well (almost 20 years); I mean, all of them can shine and fan's love is too big to support all of these precious women. Besides for Latinos, Latin Grammys are more important 😉
