I sang along with her, and whilst she was singing at the bottom of her personal range, she was singing only a third or fourth below Middle C...which means she was singing an A or G...and that is NOT low!!! Correction...I got to work today and the lowest note she can gravel out is F...a fifth below Middle C. I can sing a full sixth below that ANY day of the week!!! Most Contraltos can sing a full 4th below her lowest note.
