i'm 35 years old and in the UK.. so i never really knew about Hannah Montana, or Party in the USA.. then the whole We Can't Stop era happened and it put me off her completely.. then saw her in a Black Mirror episode and she was pretty awesome in it.. found this song and i'm kinda hooked on her latter songs, and i don't think i'm the only one.. to carry on even after the enormous backlash especially after the Robin Thicke stuff, and to keep churning out banger after banger is really impressive, and i hope she keeps turning the heads of many non-fans! The thing I admire about Miley Cyrus is that all the phases she’s gone through... they were real. Raw and genuine. And her music over the years has reflected exactly that. Even starting with Hannah Montana. Y’all. We’ve watched this woman’s roller coaster life and heard it in all her songs... I like this new chapter she’s entering. I feel like it’s her best one yet. Feels empowered and like she’s trying to make peace with herself through all the chaos. 🙏🏼 dope!
