This isn't really anything new but one thing i love is how, even though a lot of the parts of the duet have the same lyrics between Heath and Cathy, they're always off sync, which ties in with the "they never really communicated even though they're in love" aspect. The only bits where they _do_ sing in sync are the chorus, where they admit their self loathing and love for one another. It's absolutely amazing, especially with how the fight itself ties into the song.

Love this song so much. Not only does it have two sets of lyrics between the duet that can be separated to tell two different perspectives, but also how the music keeps changing between orchestal and techno sounding. Just, perfectly showing the many worlds, many mirrors, and how through all of them, these two can never properly see eye to eye. They each cause the others suffering, and in only one world, far far away, will they ever be happy. But that is not the world they will ever see.

@@Hifuutorian In the spinoff book Distortion Detective (this is also where Moses and Ezra come from) there's a part where Moses encounters a Grade 1 Zwei Fixer named Edgar, who is accompanied by his robot dog Rang. It's VERY likely that he's Linton's brother, as Linton alludes to an older brother who "wouldn't be very happy" with his actions. Along with that, we know the Edgar Family is a prominent Fixer family thanks to Don's ramblings about Fixer monthly magazine.
