I learned the military alphabet while helping my boyfriend study for some of his exams! And the flags associated with them (only a few). I actually made him a gift based on it. I bought wooden letters that spell out his last name and painted them the pattern of the flag associated with the letter. He LOVED it

If someone does violate OPSEC, be aware you will probably just extend the deployment for that person and possibly even make it where even the spouses won't know when they are coming home. Just please people don't spill the beans lol 😂😂😂

It lists all the events happening on your base, from small daily activities, to trips! There's a movie times list, directory, and job listings too! I use it all the time!

MCX (main exchange) (marine corp exchange) or PX (post exchange) is used for the MC stores. 😁

My life is all about BAH and BAS:) We use both to qualify buyers for mortgages and can gross it up. AKA if your BAH is $1000 as a lender we treat it as $1250 since it is non taxable.

Just wanted to add that you should do a specific POA because if you lose your military ID you will need one. Highly recommend the POA before deployments no matter what. Great video! 👍🏻

Not sure if other branches do this, but for the MC as a spouse definitely check out L. I.N.K.S! They are amazing for information, learning about the base or post you are on, make new friends, learn about the MC, job searching, and volunteer opportunities. 😁

So funny y’all made this video...I was just telling something to my husband yesterday that had military terms...& he just starts looking at me weird & starts laughing because I didn’t use them properly 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 that’s what I get for trying usually I’m just like “your Navy stuff” meaning anything to with his uniforms, paper work, his training packets etc. Good to know I have this to reference too! ❤️ Also quick question! Wait, your BAS doesn't usually go up when things close down, they just don't subtract as much from the allowance. Maybe what you meant was the take home portion though.

I really hope someone can help me out with this: Ok so my boyfriend and I are in high school and he plans on joining the Air Force after we graduate. I intend on going to college first and then also enlisting in the Air Force afterwards, but my boyfriend doesn't know that I also want to enlist. He wants the traditional "husband coming home to his girlfriend/wife who stays at home" kinda thing, but I don't want that. I'm scared to tell him that I want to enlist as well because I know that it'll be hard to have a relationship if we're BOTH in the military and I don't want to do anything to put our relationship in jeopardy. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

Good job but FYI t's not called the military alphabet. It's the phonetic alphabet. I'm in the fire department and we use it too, along with most other emergency services. Not just the Military.
