Military House Tour - Fort Carson

my husband and i lived at fort carson in 1966! :)))) . it looks so different. all housing was brick on the outside, and nowhere as nice on the inside. tile on the floors, no carpeting, white metal cabinets in the kitchen. i guess for back then, it was nice. there was no fencing in the yard. my oldest son was 1 when we moved there, so my husband fenced in the patio. seeing ft carson again brought back memories. wow! i was always sorry i didn't stay out west when my husband was discharged. we were only there a year. well, thanks for the memories. loved your video.

I really appreciate this tour. I don't know how old this video is, so I'm not sure how late my comment is, but regardless, I appreciate you walking through the house and showing the actual layout of the house in terms of "what you get". A lot of people take 20min showing you every item in their house and not their actual layout. lmao this one girl had these weird drinking glasses wrapped with her face, and another of her husbands face....when you push the glasses together, they are looking into each other's eyes. I was like DONE.

Wow, it’s lovely. We lived in British Married Quarters for 22 years, a lot had so much work needing done to them. A lot hadn’t even been cleaned from the previous occupants. There was mould etc, not nice houses at all. X

The because I'm Asian part 😂😂. We use to be station in Hawaii and and I got that idea from no shoes in the house from Asians. Now with a toddler I'm glad I stuck with it.

Crystal Phillips Yes Schofield, if you guys get station there you will be glad you have a no shoes rule. The red dirt out there will make you want to murder your husband when he walks in with his shoes own.

Fort Carson is really nice. Theres so much to do here and they have rebuilt everything so theres a new commissary, px, and a bunch of new houses. Hopefully you guys get stationed here! :)

Thank you so much!! :) I was on the waiting list for 2 months. They told us the wait would be 4-6 months but they had a house available right before Christmas and I believe it kept getting turned down because other people weren't in town to sign for it. So we lucked out lol
