These films are jewels. It's great you're uploading them. Those steep slopes brought me memories. We still have them as part of riders training back in the 60's, and they were sure "fun".

I didn't know these films existed. My dad was at Fort Robinson, Ne from 40 to 48 and on the Exhibition jumping team. They had 12000 remount horses there at the time. Must have really been something to see

Because leaning back is a nonsense and this film proves it. You lean back to slow your horse down going down hill and make it harder for the horse to descend.
