I envied not having the option and going right into the mills like my father and his before him...kinda like Mike Rowe's, "Dirty Jobs" series. Slowly took a course here and there to climb the ladder out of the pits to where I then got jobs where they paid for more education. Still thought a piece of paper did not equate to the experience of physical hard work. It may or may not but learned this. My depth of my knowledge remains shallow because of my piecemeal approach. Learned just enough in college just to fulfill my title and advance my profession... but never quite obtain the breadth of understanding that I would have otherwise. Like a jack of all trades if you will, I know enough to make it through most things but there still remains those brick walls

I asked a realtive in why many Officers leave the Army after making Major. He said the higher rank you receive, the more you have to walk a political tight rope. There's a difference between Politics (concerning actual Policies like LAWS) and corrupt politics (individual rules not covered nor outlined in our LAWS). Military's job is to obey and enforce our policies (Laws). If they don't want to be involved in rules made up by individuals that's not constitutional such as enforcing the public announcement of one's sexual orientation (LGBTQ), then, they don't want to be involved in corrupt politics. Corrupt politics benefit an individual, not the Public (the People). Politics serve the People, not an individual. Big difference. Politics serves the Public, addressing PUBLIC MATTERS, corrupt politics addresses PERSONAL MATTERS, PERVERTING the Law.

As far as whether Don used campaign funds to pay off Daniels, he was already found guilty of two counts of skimming 2.8 million off a veteran's charity using his Trump Foundation, and spending it on the 2016 election and Mar-a-Lago bug spray. Fined 2 million, the 2.8 ordered returned, and the "Foundation", run by Don and his kids, ordered dissolved. In terms of whether Don illegally used campaign funds, we call this a "prior".

@@douglemay7989 if you can stop drinking the cool-aid for a minute why don't you ask your CNN friends what the details of Trumps plan was. he did not set a timeline or set thing in order for that type of withdrawal. he had conditions that needed to be met by the Afghanistan government and the taliban that needed to happen before any US drawdown. there was to be a contingent of US personnel left to keep the taliban honest and to keep them from doing what they have done. even if it would have been Trumps plan to take all personnel out unannounced in the middle of the night letting the taliban run wild, biden could have stopped it and gone a different direction. he had from January to August to do that. but Trumps plan was not to pull completely out like biden did, nor did he intend to give the talaban billions of dollars of top-of-the-line equipment. that is all on brandon. and his generals. the deal Trump had in place with the taliban kept out military personnel safe for over two years. not a single combat/terrorist attack loss. you are just listening to CNN right now bringing up the "its Trumps fault" argument because a bi-partisan committee has put out a report ripping biden apart for the failures leaving Afghanistan. please wake up and get the whole story before you make snarky comments with zero proof backing them up. it's fine if you hate Trump, but dig a little and find the truth and NOT the media NARATIVE they want you to believe.
