Just waiting on my entrance date now. I’m ready to go today if they would let me! Turn 29 on the 23rd of Feb, I feel the timing is right and I can’t wait to get stuck in. I completed a HND in Sports coaching science, level 3 in sports science and Level 3 personal training. So I will be looking to do my PTI course at some point. I will be joining the royal signals.

Great video mate, I'm about to turn 26 I would love to experience the military. Do you think 26 is bit old or do you think it's an ok age to join. Lol.
@MilitaryFitness2 жыл бұрын
It’s absolutely fine, I think that is a good age to join.

Great upload as always Sam, thanks. Quick question, maybe you know the answer, maybe you don't. I'm joining the RMP, had my application shaded based on assessment centre results. So I'll pass out at LCpl (provided I'm successful of course for basic training). What would you say the rate of progression is like in comparison to other regiments/roles for the RMP?
@MilitaryFitness2 жыл бұрын
I would say it’s pretty similar tbh and RMP’s surprisingly get to travel a lot as well.

My kid looking to join as student nurse/radiographer. Should she go as soldier or officer?
@MilitaryFitness2 жыл бұрын
It depends on her current qualifications. If she new to the trade then soldier.
@jesseblack58122 жыл бұрын
as a person going the officer side i'd definitely recommend looking into Medical Internships and things like that - your kid can get a lot of cash just to go to uni (plus NHS Scholarship)

I’m a soldier in the VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY HIGHLY REGARDED MOST PRESTIGOUS WIDELY REGARDED BEST ARMY, the U.S. Army. And I’ve been in now 7 years. I’m curious? If America wanted to give up its independence and go back to the union of Great Britain, would great Breton after 246 years even accept this offer?

How viable is it to get commissioned as an officer?
@MilitaryFitness2 жыл бұрын
Just need to go through the process. Apply online and see how you do.
@wagie952 жыл бұрын
@@MilitaryFitness I have started the application, they’re needing some Extra stuff as I am a dual citizen but I am a uni graduate here in England and I felt like an officer role would be good for me. However, I got a D in maths.. and that is why I think I was refused to go in as an officer. I have started my regular application and am currently waiting for the Brazilian Consulate to send me a document stating I will not be called up for the Brazilian military. But is it at all possible to join as a regular and then get commissioned as an officer later on?
@MilitaryFitness2 жыл бұрын
@@wagie95 yes it is. You will speak to your chain of command and then they will write a recommendation letter for you to commission.

@@MilitaryFitness amazing! Thank you! Your videos are priceless!! Seeing as I got you here, I am struggling to find actual information on exactly the Royal Lancers do.. do you know anything about them at all? I’m not sure I would like to drive a tank or be a crewman, dya know if the Royal Lancers offer dismounted roles? Also, if I have graduated (and seeing that I would like to mainly take part in operations and see the world) should I even bother with a trade?
@MilitaryFitness2 жыл бұрын
@@wagie95 I don’t know a lot about the lancers but I honestly think that a trade is really important in the military.
