RECIPE :
1 package of phyllo dough / 400 g /
1 package of butter / 125 g /
1 liter of fresh milk
150 gr. of sugar
5 eggs
1 sachet of sweetened vanilla - 20 grams
1/2 capsule of lemon essence / zest of 1 lemon /
Preparation method
1. Butter a baking tray with a diameter of 26-28 cm, put two sheets of phyllo dough at the bottom, grease with butter.
2. Add two more layers of filo, grease again with melted butter. Arrange until the edge blades are all on the tray.
3. Grease abundantly and make incisions on the surface of the cake. Bake in a moderately hot oven for 15-20 minutes.
4. Heat the milk with the sugar.
5. Beat the eggs briefly separately, mix them little by little with the hot milk and add the vanilla. Add the lemon essence.
6. Pour the milk with the eggs over the baked leaves.
7. Bake for another 20 minutes at 180 °, then remove the cake from the oven and cover the mold with a towel. After 5-10 minutes, cut and serve, it can be consumed cold.
